After Hours 406, hosted by Hypnotised, has announced its guest DJ, Ranz, along with the playlist for the upcoming show originally aired on Monday, 16th March 2020, you can listen to their shows using the players below. This week’s host, Hypnotised, will take charge during the first hour. Hailing from Ghent, Belgium, Hypnotised’s musical journey began in the heart of the city, where he witnessed the birth of legendary events like "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno".
His sets are known for their mesmerising deep progressive and tech sounds that will truly live up to his name. Alongside his collaborator, PatriZe, he hosts the popular radio show "After Hours" across three international radio stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
Hypnotised’s productions frequently appear in the Beatport Top 100 Releases and are supported by a wide range of prominent artists in the scene. His debut EP, "People from the Otherworld", peaked at No. 4 on the charts, with the title track receiving a remix from Rui Da Silva, a top-selling artist.
In addition to running his own label, AH Digital, Hypnotised has contributed to renowned labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, and many more. His recent work has been featured on labels like Vesta Records, Elastic Dimension Records, Mallam, and Run Records, with further releases anticipated soon.

This week’s guest DJ is Ranz. Ransara Fernando, also known as Ranz, is a musician, producer, DJ, event manager, promoter, and electronic music enthusiast from Colombo, Sri Lanka. When he’s not performing, Ranz spends his time in the studio creating music, drawing on over a decade of eastern music lessons and a childhood in a musically-influenced home.
After years of playing at private gigs and public events alongside local DJs, DJing special occasions, and promoting his own shows, Ranz has had ample time to refine his sound. For him, it’s all about creating mood and a deep, hypnotic groove.
Ranz enjoys playing tracks that make you tap your feet and nod your head, often without realising it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly feel the urge to dance.
