Scientific Sound Asia is an English-language electronic music radio station, DJ agency, and promoter operating throughout Asia, including India, Japan, Thailand, China, and Malaysia, among other countries.
This week’s host, Hypnotised, hails from Ghent, Belgium, and was part of the early days of legendary parties like “I Love Techno” and “10 Days of Techno.” Back then, he played a variety of styles at some of Ghent's top party venues. Today, he captivates audiences with his deep progressive and tech sounds. Alongside his musical partner, PatriZe, he hosts the popular radio show "After Hours" on three international stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
In addition to their weekly show, they host "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA) and Hypnotised also has his own monthly show "Energetic" on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany). Known for his compelling sets, Hypnotised has been featured as a guest on radio stations around the world such as Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, and Ibiza Soul-Radio, to name a few.
He has shared the stage with acclaimed artists like Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, and Nick Bril at notable events and clubs including Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck Festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), and Zanzibar (South Africa).
In 2015, Hypnotised took a significant step in his career by managing his label “AH Digital” and beginning his journey as a music producer. His work has frequently appeared in the "Beatport Top 100 Releases" and is supported by many influential artists. His first EP, “People from the Otherworld,” quickly climbed to the fourth position on the charts, and the title track was later remixed by top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
More recently, his EP "Infinity" achieved considerable success on the Beatport release charts, ranking No. 2 in both the progressive house and trance charts, and No. 3 in the techno charts. In 2016, Hypnotised began producing under the alias “Man on the Moon,” debuting with the track "Sense" on the renowned Bonzai label. He also won a remix contest on Metapop and received airplay on Belgium’s prominent radio station “Studio Brussel.”
Running his label AH Digital, he has also collaborated with other labels like Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm, Abstract Space Records, and many others. He has upcoming projects with SLC-6 Music, Tantalum Records, and AH Digital, ensuring a continuous flow of exciting new music. Keep an eye out for his future releases!

This week's guest DJ (second hour) is Doriaan, whose real name is Dorian Fabian Padilla Espinola. He is a DJ and Producer from Mexico City, known for his unique blend of Progressive House.
Doriaan started his journey as a self-taught DJ and producer, and his first release on Jumpers Recordings in 2016 launched him into the Progressive House scene. Since then, he has released and remixed numerous tracks on various labels, including Bonzai Progressive.
Recently, Doriaan released his track "Orcinus" on Bonzai Progressive in October 2023. This track has been well-received and demonstrates his dedication to creating music that connects emotionally and energizes dance floors. His previous release, "U-Boot," also on Bonzai Progressive, further solidified his place in the Progressive House community.
Doriaan continues to focus on producing high-quality music that features groove, melody, and a deep emotional vibe, keeping his audience engaged and anticipating his next move. Doriaan’s music reflects his broad musical tastes, and he draws inspiration from various influences, creating a sound that is both captivating and distinct. His journey is a testament to his dedication to the craft and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of the Progressive House genre.
During After Hours 440, Hypnotised and Doriaan presented a captivating Progressive House mix. In the initial hour, Hypnotised showcased songs by artists such as rAin (MU) and Gerardo Moro, establishing an enthralling ambience.
