Hypnotised, the host of After Hours 498, has revealed that DJ Damien Spencer will be the guest and shared the playlists for the upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia, a DJ agency, promoter, and electronic music station in Asia, boasts a global audience.
The host for this week is Hypnotised, who hails from Ghent, Belgium, where he witnessed the beginnings of renowned parties like "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno". In the past, he used to play a variety of styles in Ghent's main party district. Presently, he captivates audiences with deep progressive and tech sounds. Alongside his partner PatriZe, he presents the well-received radio show "After Hours" on three global radio stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
In addition to their weekly show, they present a monthly show called "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA). Hypnotised also presents his own monthly show "Energetic" on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany). Known for his captivating sets, he has been a featured guest on various radio stations worldwide, including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio, and many others.
He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, Nick Bril, and more at various festivals, events, and clubs including Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck Festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), Citylife (Terneuzen), Niche Club (Ghent), and Zanzibar (South Africa), just to mention a few.
In 2015, a new era began for Hypnotised when he took over the management of his label "AH Digital" and embarked on his journey as a music producer. His releases consistently climb the ranks in the "Beatport top 100 releases" and receive endorsements from numerous prominent artists in the industry. His debut EP "People from the Otherworld" quickly reached the top spot at number 4, with the title track later receiving a remix from the chart-topping artist Rui Da Silva.
Recently, Hypnotised's EP "Infinity" achieved great success on the Beatport releases charts, reaching second place in both the progressive house and trance charts, and third place in the techno charts. In 2016, he began producing music under the alias “Man on the Moon”, which led to a strong debut with his track "Sense" being signed by the well-known Bonzai label. Additionally, he won a remix contest on Metapop and received support and airplay on Belgium's top radio station "Studio Brussels".
Alongside his own imprint AH Digital, he has collaborated with various labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm, Abstract Space Records, Eternal Beats, Beat Block Records, Absurd State, Aeriform Records, Morninglory Music, Mystic Carousel Records, Crop Circle, Disposition Recordings, Hot Cue Music, Estribo Records, IN2U Records, and Tech Deluxe. The guest DJ for the second hour this week is Damien Spencer, a British DJ and producer hailing from Northampton in the Midlands. Damien Spencer is well-regarded on a global scale, specializing in Progressive House, Melodic House, Tech House, and Chillout music.
Throughout the years, he has released music consistently on various labels including ICONYC, Pro B Tech, Dear Deer White, Perfecto Black, Resonate Together, and others. His songs have been frequently included in the playlists of globally recognized artists for their radio shows and live performances.
While primarily known as a Progressive House producer, he has recently explored genres beyond the realm of House Music, including Breaks and Breakbeat, as well as experimenting with Melodic Techno. Look out for his upcoming remix and release for Hypnotised's AH Digital in early 2022.
