Scientific Sound Asia operates as an electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter for the Asian region, catering to an international audience.
The host for this week is Hypnotised, who hails from Ghent, Belgium, where he witnessed the beginnings of iconic parties like "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno." In the past, he used to play a variety of music styles in Ghent's main party district.
Nowadays, he will captivate you with deep progressive and tech sounds. Alongside his partner PatriZe, he presents the well-received radio show "After Hours" on three international radio stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
Next to this weekly show they also host a monthly show "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA). Hypnotised also hosts his monthly show “Energetic” on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany).
Being well appreciated for his intriguing sets he's also been invited as a guest on several other radio stations all over the world such as Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio and many more.
He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, Nick Bril, and more at various festivals, events, and clubs including Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck Festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), Citylife (Terneuzen), Niche Club (Ghent), and Zanzibar (South Africa), just to mention a few.
In 2015, a new era began for Hypnotised when he took charge of his label "AH Digital" and embarked on his journey as a music producer. His creations consistently climb the ranks in the "Beatport top 100 releases" and receive recognition from numerous esteemed artists in the industry. His debut EP, "People from the Otherworld," quickly reached the number 4 position on the charts, with the title track later receiving a remix by the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
Most recently, Hypnotised's EP "Infinity" achieved great success on the Beatport releases charts, reaching second place in both the progressive house and trance charts, and third place in the techno charts. In 2016, he began producing music under the alias “Man on the Moon,” making a remarkable debut with his track "Sense" signed by the prestigious Bonzai label. He also won a remix contest on Metapop and received support and airplay on Belgium's top radio station "Studio Brussels."
Aside from his own label AH Digital, he has collaborated with various other labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm, Abstract Space Records, Eternal Beats, Beat Block Records, Absurd State, Aeriform Records, Morninglory Music, Mystic Carousel Records, Crop Circle, Disposition Recordings, Hot Cue Music, Estribo Records, IN2U Records, and Tech Deluxe. This week's guest DJ is Agustin Lupidi, Agustín Lupidi is an Argentinian DJ and producer who originates from Villa Maria, Córdoba. Since his early childhood, he had always been interested in electronic music.
As he grew he began digging in local record shops, and online for Techno and House releases and accidentally discovered Progressive House. For him, he had discovered his true love and then embarked on production.
Initially, he delved into Traktor and FL studio but over time he found a decent production platform for himself in Ableton Live. His main Influences are Khen, Hernán Cattaneo, Guy J and many others across the genre boundaries including Hip Hop, Rock, and Indie Dance.
Whilst producing he experiments and plays with reverberating basslines and melodies that are fruitful to the ear. He has released tracks on many labels including Stellar Fountain, Balkan Connection, Nube Music and many more with support from Nick Warren and Hernán Cattaneo.
