After Hours 530 is hosted by Hypnotised he hasn has announced its guest DJ Gusti Rabago and playlists for their new show. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station, promoter and DJ agency for the Asian region and has an international following.
The host for this week is Hypnotised (first hour), who hails from Ghent, Belgium, a city where he was part of the early days of iconic parties like "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno". During that time, he played a mix of genres in Ghent's main party district. Presently, he captivates audiences with deep progressive and tech sounds. Alongside his partner PatriZe, he presents the popular radio show "After Hours" on three international radio stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
In addition to their weekly show, they also present a monthly show called "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA). Hypnotised also hosts his own monthly show, "Energetic," on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany). Known for his captivating sets, he has been a featured guest on various radio stations worldwide, including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia Fm, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio, and many others.
He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, Nick Bril, and more at various festivals, events, and clubs including Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), Citylife (Terneuzen), Niche Club (Ghent), and Zanzibar (South Africa), just to name a few.
In 2015, a new era began for Hypnotised when he took over the management of his label "AH Digital" and embarked on his journey as a music producer. His productions consistently climb the "Beatport top 100 releases" chart and receive recognition from numerous esteemed artists in the industry. His debut EP, "People from the Otherworld," quickly reached the number 4 spot on the charts, with the title track later receiving a remix from the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
Recently, Hypnotised's EP "Infinity" made a significant impact by ranking second on the Beatport releases charts for both progressive house and trance, and third for techno. In 2016, he began producing under the alter ego "Man on the Moon," achieving a successful debut with "Sense" signed by the prestigious Bonzai label. Additionally, he won a remix contest on Metapop and received support and airplay on Belgium's top radio station, "Studio Brussels."
Aside from his own label AH Digital, he has collaborated with various other labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomniafm, Abstract Space Records, Eternal Beats, Beat Block Records, Absurd State, Aeriform Records, Morninglory Music, Mystic Carousel Records, Crop Circle, Disposition Recordings, Hot Cue Music, Estribo Records, IN2U Records, and Tech Deluxe. This week’s guest DJ is Gusti Rabago, Gusti Rabago will be enticing our ears here on Scientific Sound Asia, the electronic music show for both the region and internationally.
Gusti, hailing from a small mountain community in San Luis, Argentina, has since beginning his career behind the decks and established himself as one of the top contenders in the scene.
Back in 2010, Gusti moved to the city of Cordoba where he first discovered his love for those electronic sounds. What started as a passing interest soon grew into a deep everlasting passion which drove him on a journey of discovery and inspiration.
In 2019 he ventured to Mexico where he became the main event at parties in the unspoiled region known as the Mexican Caribbean. Gusti proved to be not only a genius on the platters but a man with a message, something to share with those who had the same undying love for electronic music that he did.
His passion and flare for electro could be felt in his musical beats, leaving audiences feeling the artist’s very soul while moving to the sounds. Today he resides in Spain playing a whole set of venues, his music ranging from Organic House to the far more profound Progressive House.
He’s been involved with some other giants in the music scene like Guy Mantzur, Fabri Lopez, Antrim and many others too. Gusti continues to refine his work, ensuring to deliver beats and sounds that are very much unique to him, searching for new outlets to release spirit and passion out onto the crowd, sending them into a musical trance that he is the one true master of.
