Hypnotised, the host of After Hours 538, has revealed that Orticaan will be the guest DJ for the upcoming show, along with the playlists. Scientific Sound Asia, an electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency in Asia, has a global audience.
This week's host is Hypnotised for the first hour. Originally from Ghent, Belgium, he witnessed the exciting beginnings of iconic events like "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno" in the city. During that time, he showcased a diverse range of music styles in Ghent's main party district. Presently, he captivates audiences with deep progressive and tech sounds.
Alongside his partner in crime PatriZe, he presents the popular radio show "After Hours" on three stations worldwide: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam). Next to this weekly show they also host a monthly show "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA).
In addition to hosting his monthly show "Energetic" on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany), Hypnotised is recognized for his captivating sets and has been featured as a guest on various radio stations worldwide, including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia Fm, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio, and many others.
He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, Nick Bril, and more at various festivals, events, and clubs, including Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), Citylife (Terneuzen), Niche Club (Ghent), and Zanzibar (South Africa), just to mention a few.
In 2015, a new era began for Hypnotised when he took over the management of his label "AH Digital" and embarked on his journey as a music producer. His releases consistently climb the ranks in the "Beatport top 100 releases" and receive recognition from numerous esteemed artists in the industry. His debut EP, "People from the Otherworld," quickly reached the fourth position on the charts, with the title track later receiving a remix from the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
Recently, the EP "Infinity" by Hypnotised achieved great success by reaching second place on the Beatport releases charts in both the progressive house and trance categories, and third place in the techno category. In 2016, he began producing music under the alias “Man on the Moon” and had a remarkable debut with the track "Sense," which was signed by the prestigious Bonzai label. Additionally, he won a remix contest on Metapop and received support and airplay on Belgium's top radio station "Studio Brussels."
