Hosted by PatriZe and Doogie Mustard, episode 575 of After Hours showcases Scientific Sound Asia, which serves as the premier Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company both locally and globally.
Featuring a range of genres including Progressive House, Techno, and other sub-genres of house music, 'After Hours' showcases the most promising DJs and producers worldwide on a weekly basis. The show highlights underground sounds that dominate their respective music scenes.
PatriZe is a Belgian producer who, at a young age, acquired his first turntables and swiftly transitioned to the more aggressive styles of Trance and Techno. As time passed, his interest shifted towards the melodic and sophisticated sounds of Progressive House.
Following years of performing in the Belgian music scene, he achieved significant success in 2010 by collaborating with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck. Additionally, he won the prestigious Night Museum DJ competition in France and had the opportunity to warm up the stage for the renowned progressive artist, Guy J, from Lost & Found and Bedrock.
PatriZe is known for his dedication to perfecting his skills, which has established him as a DJ with exceptional abilities in creating smooth transitions, selecting tracks, and layering melodies infused with subtle tech influences. He currently lives in Thailand, where he hosts his popular Foundations and After Hours Series and makes guest appearances on various international radio programs.
By hosting radio shows in Europe and the USA, he dedicates himself to fostering the expansion of his movement - the underground Progressive House scene. PatriZe, a passionate producer and the founder of AH Digital label, actively generates, discovers, and champions Progressive House music worldwide.
You can catch him performing live at various venues like Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya) where he DJs. He is deeply involved in the underground music scene in Pattaya, playing gigs around the city and amassing a dedicated fan base.
Wherever he travels, the numbers come along to appreciate his captivating assortment of beats. In April 2015, he launched his label AH Digital with his "partner in crime" Hypnotised, leading to a rapid progression in his producing career.
The year 2015 began successfully for Hypnotised & PatriZe, with all their releases reaching the Beatport Progressive House top 100. Their debut EP, "People from the Otherworld," not only peaked at number 4 on this chart but also made it to the top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release rankings.
They were also greatly honoured when the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva remixed the title track of their popular EP. PatriZe is based in Thailand, where he frequently performs and consistently creates tracks.
In addition to his regular program on our station, he hosts radio shows on other stations and releases tracks on reputable labels that frequently rank high on the Beatport charts. He and his partner Hypnotised are acknowledged as leading figures in the global Progressive House Radio community.
