On After Hours episode 595, PatriZe and guest Rivvo are the hosts of Scientific Sound Asia, the electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter catering to the region and beyond.
Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe stands as a prominent figure on the music scene who is best known for his seamless transitions, track selection, and melodic layers with subtle tech undertones. The artist began his musical endeavours at a young age and quickly became a champion of both Trance and Techno before going on to master the more melodic and sophisticated sounds of Progressive House.
Having achieved long-standing success in Belgium, he reached a turning point in 2010 when he opened for the renowned progressive artist Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock) at Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, winning first prize at the Night Museum DJ Competition. In April 2015, he embarked on his journey as a music producer by co-founding AH Digital with fellow DJ Hypnotised. Their releases in that year made it to the Beatport Progressive House top 100.
Their first EP, 'People from the Otherworld' came in at no. 4 and reached the top 20 in the Techno and Tech House release charts. Not only did the two of them make headway in the charts but further testament came when best-selling artist Rui Da Silva did a remix of the title track of their popular EP.
PatriZe is currently living in Thailand, where he performs at various venues in Pattaya's underground scene, including Beachspot, Thai Lounge & Terrace, and others. Aside from captivating audiences in the coastal town, he hosts his Rising Sun show on Frisky Radio, AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio, and After Hours Series featuring guest artists from around the world.
In addition to hosting his show on our station, he also appears on other well-known stations and consistently releases music on leading labels around the globe. Together with his partner Hypnotised, they are acknowledged as prominent figures in the international Progressive House Radio (Prog House radio) community.

This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Rivvo, Rivvo is a Brazilian DJ and producer whose heart lies firmly with deep, melodic and rich tracks. His introduction to music began with a 10-year study of classical piano as a child.
His musical identity can be indebted to his piano and orcestra experience with classical music at his helm. His production classes at Re Dupre were rewarded by winning a remix contest for Hub Records a subsiduary for Sony Music.
His most recent releases have been on Afro House and Organic label Star Harabe which charted in Protons' top 10 weekly charts. He is a promising talent and is definitely one to watch out for in the future.
After Hours episode 595 takes listeners on an immersive journey through the world of Progressive House, expertly curated by PatriZe and guest DJ Rivvo.
