In episode 597 of After Hours, PatriZe hosts alongside guest Dj Rodrives on Scientific Sound Asia, the electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter for the region and beyond.
Recognized as a leading figure in the music industry, Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe is renowned for his flawless transitions, impeccable track selection, and intricate melodic layers infused with subtle tech elements. Starting his musical journey at a young age, the artist swiftly excelled in both Trance and Techno, eventually mastering the more melodious and refined tones of Progressive House.
Having achieved long-standing success in Belgium, he reached a turning point in 2010 with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, where he opened for the renowned progressive artist, Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock), leading him to win the Night Museum DJ Competition. In April 2015, he embarked on his journey as a producer by co-founding AH Digital label with fellow DJ Hypnotised. Their releases that year made it to the Beatport Progressive House top 100.
Ranked at number 4, their debut EP 'People from the Otherworld' made it to the top 20 in the Techno and Tech House release charts. In addition to their chart success, their EP received further recognition when renowned artist Rui Da Silva created a remix of the title track.
PatriZe currently lives in Thailand and performs in Pattaya's underground scene, entertaining audiences at various venues such as Beachspot, Thai Lounge & Terrace, among others. Whilst rearing the crowd in the coastal town, he also broadcasts his Rising Sun show on Frisky Radio, AH Digital Essentials on Proton Radio and After Hours Series with guest appearances from across the globe.
In addition to hosting his show on our station, he also appears on other well-known stations and consistently releases music on leading labels around the globe. Together with his partner Hypnotised, they are widely acknowledged as the main figures in the Progressive House radio (Prog House radio) community on an international level.

This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Rodrives, Adriano Rodrigues a.k.a Rodrives is a DJ and producer from São Paulo, Brazil. He has been passionate about music since he was a child, and he began his career as a musician playing instruments in a youth orchestra.
During his teenage years, he came across electronic music and embarked on his journey as a DJ and producer, forming the duo Endless Moon. In 2021, he made the choice to pursue a solo career under the name Rodrives, emphasizing melodic, deep, and danceable music production.
He has made tracks with releases on labels such as Another Life Music, AH Digital, BC2, Future Avenue, Terasonic, and For Senses. He aims to keep releasing music and get a firmer foothold in the electronic music scene.
After Hours episode 597 provides an immersive Progressive House experience, with PatriZe and guest DJ Rodrives delivering melodic and atmospheric selections.
