This week's host is Hypnotised (first hour), from Ghent, Belgium, where he began his career performing at "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno" before going on to play at other events throughout the city, hypnotizing audiences with deep prog and tech sounds. Now, with his partner in crime, PatriZe, he is hosting his popular show "After Hours" on three radio stations worldwide: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam).
In addition to their weekly show, the duo also presents 'AH Digital Essentials' on Proton Radio (USA), while Hypnotised hosts 'Energetic' on Progressive Beats Radio (Germany). Hypnotised, and recognized for his exceptional sets, has been featured as a guest on prestigious stations such as Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, and Golden Wings Music Radio, among others. Together with his partner PatriZe, they are regarded as key figures in the Progressive House Radio (Prog House radio) community.
He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Purple Disco Machine, Jesse Rose, and Nick Bril at various festivals, events, and clubs, such as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Deep on Deck Festival (South Africa), Club NL (Amsterdam), Decadance (Ghent), W Lounge (Amsterdam), and Citylife (Terneuzen).
In 2015, Hypnotised embarked on a new journey in his career by establishing his own label, "AH Digital". Transitioning into production, his music has consistently appeared on the 'Beatport top 100 releases' and has received recognition from various renowned artists. His debut EP, 'People from the Otherworld', reached the number 4 spot on the charts, with its title track later remixed by the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
Hypnotised's EP, "Infinity," recently achieved great success on the Beatport releases charts, ranking second in both the progressive house and trance categories, and third in the techno category. In 2016, he started producing music under the alias "Man on the Moon," releasing his debut track, "Sense," on the well-known Bonzai label. He also won a remix contest on Metapop and received airplay on 'Studio Brussels,' Belgium's top radio station.
Besides his own AH Digital and his work with Bonzai Progressive, the turntable start has been involved with other top labels such as Green Martian, SLC-6 Music, Pro-B-Tech Music, Stellar Fountain, Vesta Records, Insomnia FM, and Abstract Space Records to name just a few. This week's guest DJ is Rodrigo Pochelu, Rodrigo Pochelu is an Uruguayan DJ and producer hailing from Montevideo. His interest and passion for DJing and production came to light during the lockdown in his home country.
His main influence draws from his admiration for Hernan Cattaneo and his main genre is Progressive House. His first productions have caught the attention of Progressive House fans and he has releases on Soundteller, AH Digital Records, Droid9, and RYNTH.
His main aim is to continue building his repertoire and improve his production skills to gain a better foothold. He performs regular shows in his home city and aims to venture further in the coming year.
