Tomic, also known as Thomas Martin Wagner, has been a producer since 1992 and a DJ since 1995. He began creating his own tracks using the legendary KORG M1 and an EMU Sampler. During the early 1990s, there were no influences from real techno music, as his musical upbringing was shaped by iconic artists from the 1970s and 1980s, such as Giorgio Moroder, Visage, Human League, Depeche Mode, and Kraftwerk.

His first release in 1997 was on a small label called Bazookah Records from Wuppertal, under the project "Fast Lane," with the track "The Fly." Following this release, there was a period of silence in his production career as he focused on playing as a DJ in the North Rhine-Westphalia area, performing in nearly all legendary clubs.

His subsequent releases came at the beginning of the new millennium and were oriented towards Deep and Vocal House. During this time, he released two vinyl records on Kunstfu Records ("Schwebebahn EP") and Funksta Records ("Feel the Fire"). However, this was followed by another long period of silence as he shifted his style to Progressive House.

After some releases on Stripped Records, Tomic established his own label, Fraud Recordings, in 2006, on which he released a substantial collection of his own work. In 2007, he had the opportunity to release a track on the compilation "Declivity" on the renowned label Iboga Records.

This was followed by two more releases on the compilations "Platform 01" and "Bakkelit 2.1" on Spiral Trax, one of the most legendary labels in the Psychedelic Trance and Progressive Trance scene. In 2009, he released his first artist album, "My Number One," on Spiral Trax, which was followed by numerous remixes on SOG, QOC, and Echoes Records.

His last release of this era in 2010 was on the American label Ambiosphere, owned by the legendary artist Tony Thomas, with the track "LEAF – Monolith – Tomic Remix." With this release, Tomic returned to a more Deep Vocal House style.

In recent years, Tomic has made a significant return to the Progressive House scene. His latest releases include a variety of tracks on well-known labels such as BC2 Records, Fraud Recordings, and Big Bells Records.

Notable recent works include "Illusion" (Tomic Remix), "Untold" (Tomic Remix), "Peace" (Original Mix and Ricardo Piedra Remix), "Lisboa" (Original Mix, Ultraverse Remix, DJ Silverade Remix), and "Groove" (Original Mix). Tomic continues to be an influential figure in the Progressive House scene, with a repertoire that spans over two decades and a dedication to evolving his sound and maintaining his presence in the electronic music community.

After Hours episode 646 is a captivating journey through the depths of Progressive House, curated by Hypnotised and Tomic. In the first hour, Hypnotised sets the mood with atmospheric tracks like Chris.M’s "Caladium" and BROWN’s "It Was All a Dream."

Tomic continues in the second hour, delivering powerful Progressive House beats from artists like Enzo Paradiso and Blanka Barbara. This episode offers a seamless blend of deep grooves and melodic progressions, perfect for fans of the genre.
