Guest DJ Robert Clark.

The 10 year anniversary starts with Robert Clark. Having loved Acid House from a young age, Robert Clark first started spinning vinyl on turntables in 1993.

In a short period, this would see him gain his first residency at The Edge/Zone in Dundee, in 1995. Robert soon moved south to England; and with a penchant for a deeper, more progressive house, Robert began gaining a reputation as a DJ in the Progressive House scene around the West Midlands; mainly in Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa and Stratford.

He continued honing his skills, playing gigs in various clubs and bars, during the nineties and noughties. Robert moved to Australia in 2005, where he lived for almost two years.

Whilst there, he continued playing in various city bars and clubs; in places like Sydney, but most notably, rooftop parties in Brisbane. On returning to Scotland, Robert broadened his musical scope and deepened his DJ repertoire, introducing a techier edge to his sets – but staying true to his love for Prog.

From enjoying gigs under his belt in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Stirling, Rob decided to set up his own night, 'Music is the Answer' in 2016. Since then, MitA has evolved and grown into something quite special for its established and new followers, with numerous events being held in the unique location of Mains Castle, a 16th-century castle on the outskirts of Dundee’s city centre.
