PatriZe (first hour) hails from Belgium and discovered his passion for music at an early age. Initially inspired by the energetic beats of Trance and Techno, his tastes evolved towards the more melodic and intricate nuances of Progressive House. His breakthrough came in 2010 after collaborating with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck and winning the esteemed Night Museum DJ competition in France. This pivotal moment solidified his place in the industry, opening for iconic artists like Guy J.
Renowned for his seamless transitions and carefully curated track selections, PatriZe has built a reputation for creating captivating melodic layers with subtle tech undertones. Currently based in Thailand, he broadcasts his well-known Foundations and After Hours Series and regularly appears on various global radio shows. He is dedicated to nurturing the underground Progressive House scene through his radio shows in Europe and the USA, promoting his movement's growth.
For live performances, PatriZe can be seen at venues like Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya), where he has established a loyal following. His engaging sets and dynamic presence have made him a staple in the Pattaya underground music scene. In 2015, he co-founded his label, AH Digital, with his collaborator Hypnotised, which quickly gained recognition in the industry.
The label’s initial releases, including their debut EP “People from the Otherworld,” topped the Beatport Progressive House charts at number 4 and also ranked high on the Techno and Tech House release charts. It was a remarkable achievement for them when Rui Da Silva, a leading figure in the industry, remixed the title track of their acclaimed EP. Their success paved the way for a series of high-ranking releases, solidifying their reputation in the global music scene.
PatriZe continues to perform frequently and produce new tracks, collaborating with a variety of respected labels such as Bonzai Progressive and SLC-6 Music. His releases consistently make waves on Beatport charts, reflecting his influence and dedication to the Progressive House genre.
