After Hours host PatriZe has announced his guest DJ, Devans, for the upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the Asian promoter, DJ agency, and electronic music station, both regionally and internationally.
Each week, 'After Hours' showcases the finest emerging DJs and producers from around the globe, exploring genres from Progressive House to Techno and various other house music sub-genres. The programme centres on the underground sounds currently making waves in their respective scenes.
PatriZe, who will take the first hour, is a producer from Belgium. He acquired his first turntables at a young age and quickly gravitated towards the harder sounds of Trance and Techno. Over time, his passion evolved into the melodic and intricate sounds of Progressive House. His breakthrough came in 2010 alongside Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, as well as winning the esteemed Night Museum DJ competition in France, where he had the opportunity to warm up for progressive luminary Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).
PatriZe's dedication to refining his craft has earned him a reputation for seamless transitions, exceptional track selection, and melodic layers infused with tech undertones. Currently residing in Thailand, he broadcasts his renowned Foundations and After Hours series, making guest appearances on various global radio shows. With his own radio shows in Europe and the USA, he is committed to promoting the growth of the underground Progressive House scene. As an enthusiastic producer and founder of his label, AH Digital, PatriZe creates, sources, and promotes Progressive House music worldwide.
For live performances, you can find him spinning at venues such as Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya), among others. He is an active participant in Pattaya's underground scene, regularly gigging around town and building a devoted following. Wherever he performs, his entrancing collection of beats draws in crowds.
In April 2015, PatriZe launched his label, AH Digital, in partnership with Hypnotised, and his production career swiftly took off. Their 2015 releases consistently reached the Beatport Progressive House Top 100. Their debut EP, “People from the Otherworld,” even peaked at No. 4 in this chart and entered the Top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts. They were further honoured when Rui Da Silva, the No. 1 selling artist, remixed the title track of their popular EP.
Currently, PatriZe resides in Thailand, where he regularly performs and produces new tracks. In addition to his regular show on our station, he hosts radio shows on other platforms and releases music on respected labels, often trending well in the Beatport charts.
Guest DJ Devans.
This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Devans, an emerging Argentinian DJ and Producer who has firmly established himself within the Progressive House scene. Despite being relatively new, he boasts an impressive discography with numerous releases since his debut in 2019.
Devans has collaborated with several notable labels, including BQ Recordings, LW Recordings, Droid 9, and PatriZe's AH Digital, among others. His commitment to quality and innovation has garnered attention, and he aims to continue his upward trajectory by participating in key events in the coming year, alongside fresh releases that showcase his evolving sound.
With a solid foundation in music production, Devans is rapidly making a name for himself in the industry. His latest release, a remix of Sasha Khripta's 'Flying into Something,' launched just two weeks ago on Neonius Records, has received positive feedback from both fans and critics alike. This track exemplifies his knack for blending melodic elements with driving beats, captivating listeners and dance floors.
As he looks ahead, Devans is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other artists and explore new creative avenues. He envisions expanding his reach within the electronic music community and hopes to perform at prestigious festivals and events across the globe. Be sure to enjoy the show and experience the unique sounds of Devans!
