After Hours host PatriZe has announced his guest DJ Eichenbaum and playlists for the next show. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter for the region and has an international outreach.
Playing genres from Progressive House to Techno and other house music sub-genres, 'After Hours' every week presents the best upcoming DJs and producers on the planet. The focus of 'After Hours' is the underground sounds that are headlining in the respective scenes at present.
PatriZe (first hour) is a producer from Belgium, at a young age he bought his first turntables and quickly grew into the harder sound of Trance and Techno. Over the passage of time, his passion grew for the melodic and intelligent sounds of Progressive House. After years of playing throughout the Belgian scene, his breakthrough was in 2010 with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, along with winning the respected Night Museum DJ competition in France, warming up for progressive luminary, Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).
PatriZe's devotion to honing his craft has earned him a reputation of seamless transitions, track selection, and melodic layers with a touch of tech undertones. Currently, PatriZe resides in Thailand where he broadcasts his renowned Foundations and After Hours Series with guest appearances on several global radio shows. With his own radio shows over in Europe and USA, he works hard to ensure the growth of his movement - the underground Progressive House scene. As an avid producer and founder of his label AH Digital, PatriZe creates, sources and promotes Progressive House across the globe.
For live gigs, you can find him spinning the decks at places such as Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya) and other venues. He is an active player in the underground scene in Pattaya, gigging around town with a cult following. Everywhere he goes the numbers follow to enjoy his entrancing collection of beats. In April 2015 he started his own label AH Digital with his "partner in crime" Hypnotised and his producing career followed quickly.
And it started off well, all the 2015 releases of Hypnotised & PatriZe reached the Beatport Progressive House top 100 releases. Their first EP, “People from the Otherworld” even topped this chart at no. 4 and also reached the top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts. It was then also a great honour for them that number. 1 selling artist Rui Da Silva remixed the title track of their popular EP.
At present PatriZe inhabits Thailand where he performs often and consistently produces tracks, along with his regular show on our station he performs radio shows on other stations and publishes tracks on some good labels which often trend well in Beatport charts.
Guest DJ Eichenbaum.
This week's guest DJ is Eichenbaum, whose real name is Andres Eichenbaum. He is an Argentinian DJ and producer whose journey began in the nineties, deeply influenced by the rich Progressive Rock and Jazz scene in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
Eichenbaum's foray into electronic music started at home and was further developed during his travels, with Europe playing a significant role in his growth as a Progressive House artist. He is currently based on Waiheke Island, Aotearoa, New Zealand, where he has resided since 2013 and performs at various festivals and events across the country.
Eichenbaum has performed internationally, including in his home country of Argentina, as well as in Japan and Sri Lanka, and he plans to expand to more destinations now that lockdown restrictions have eased. In 2021, he formed a production alliance with his long-time Argentinian friend Guz under the name 'Lift Me High Productions', focusing on releasing podcasts featuring world-renowned artists.
As a producer, Eichenbaum's work has been recognised for its focus on Melodic House and Techno, and of course, Progressive House. His productions have received support from notable artists such as Guy J, Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Dmitry Molosh, Henry Saiz, Adriatique, Solomun, Graziano Raffa, Chicola, Armen Miran, Hraach, Joris Voorn, Mariano Mellino, Nick Varon, and many others.
He has hosted guest shows for several international radio stations and aims to continue hosting radio shows for Progressive House stations worldwide. Currently, Eichenbaum is primarily studio-based, continuing to evolve as both a producer and a DJ.
Eichenbaum's first track, "Palermo," was released on the Proton/Balkan Connection South America label in 2018, followed by his solo track "Soho" on the Choon streaming platform in January 2019. In the summer of 2020, he released his remix of Nils Frahm's "Says," which garnered significant support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Guy Mantzur. Fans can stay tuned for his upcoming releases.
