After Hours host PatriZe has announced his guest DJ, Juan Erbin, along with the playlists for the upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian promoter, DJ agency, and electronic music station catering to the region and beyond.
Every week, After Hours showcases the finest upcoming DJs and producers, playing a range of genres from Progressive House to Techno and various house music sub-genres. The show's focus is on the underground sounds currently making waves in the respective scenes.
PatriZe, who hosts the first hour, is a Belgian producer who discovered his passion for music at a young age when he acquired his first turntables. He initially gravitated towards the harder sounds of Trance and Techno but eventually found his niche in the melodic and intelligent tones of Progressive House. His breakthrough came in 2010, collaborating with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, and winning the prestigious Night Museum DJ competition in France, where he had the opportunity to warm up for progressive icon Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).
Renowned for his seamless transitions, astute track selection, and melodic layers infused with tech undertones, PatriZe has built a solid reputation. Currently based in Thailand, he broadcasts his acclaimed After Hours series while making guest appearances on numerous global radio shows. His commitment to the underground Progressive House scene is evident in his radio shows across Europe and the USA, where he works tirelessly to promote its growth. As an enthusiastic producer and founder of AH Digital, PatriZe actively creates, sources, and promotes Progressive House music worldwide.
For live performances, you can catch him spinning at venues like Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya), among others. PatriZe is an integral part of the underground scene in Pattaya, known for drawing crowds eager to experience his captivating collection of beats. In April 2015, he launched his label AH Digital alongside his "partner in crime," Hypnotised, quickly advancing his production career.
Their journey began on a high note, with all 2015 releases by Hypnotised and PatriZe reaching the Beatport Progressive House top 100. Their debut EP, “People from the Otherworld,” achieved remarkable success, peaking at number 4 and also breaking into the top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts. They were honoured when Rui Da Silva, the number one-selling artist, remixed the title track from their celebrated EP.
Today, PatriZe continues to thrive in Thailand, frequently performing and consistently producing tracks. Alongside his regular show on our station, he hosts radio shows on various platforms and releases music on reputable labels that frequently trend well on Beatport charts.
Guest DJ Juan Erbin.
This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Juan Erbin, an accomplished Argentinian DJ and producer who specialises in Progressive House. Juan Erbin has consistently demonstrated his ability to stay ahead of musical trends, ensuring his performances resonate with both long-time enthusiasts and new listeners alike.
