After Hours host PatriZe has announced his guest DJ, Kay-D, for the next show. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and events management company for the region and internationally.

Playing genres from Progressive House to Techno and other house music sub-genres, After Hours their weekly show features the best upcoming DJs and producers globally. The show highlights the underground sounds currently leading in their respective scenes.

PatriZe (first hour) is a producer from Belgium. He began his musical journey at a young age, buying his first turntables and delving into the harder sounds of Trance and Techno.

Over time, his passion evolved into the melodic and intricate layers of Progressive House. After years in the Belgian scene, his breakthrough came in 2010 with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck. He also won the esteemed Night Museum DJ competition in France, opening for progressive luminary Guy J (Lost and Found, Bedrock).

PatriZe’s commitment to perfecting his craft has earned him a reputation for seamless transitions, track selection, and melodic layers with a tech undertone. Now residing in Thailand, he broadcasts his renowned Foundations and After Hours series with guest appearances on several global radio shows.

With his shows in Europe and the USA, he is dedicated to the growth of the underground Progressive House scene. As an active producer and founder of his label AH Digital, PatriZe creates, sources, and promotes Progressive House worldwide.

For live gigs, he can be found spinning the decks at venues like Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge and Terrace (Pattaya). He is a key figure in Pattaya’s underground scene, attracting a dedicated following with his mesmerising beats. In April 2015, he launched AH Digital with his partner Hypnotised, quickly advancing his producing career.

The 2015 releases of Hypnotised and PatriZe all reached the Beatport Progressive House Top 100. Their debut EP, People from the Otherworld, peaked at number 4 and also made the Top 20 in the Techno and Tech House release charts. It was a significant achievement for them to have Rui Da Silva remix the title track of their acclaimed EP.

Currently, PatriZe resides in Thailand, performing regularly and producing new tracks. He hosts shows on our station and other platforms, releasing tracks on various respected labels that often perform well in the Beatport charts.

This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Kay-D, also known as Krisztian Kajdi, from Ajka, Hungary. His passion for music began in childhood when he attended the conservatory for three years and played the trumpet.

In the early 1990s, he developed an interest in electronic music, inspired by German rave and trance genres. At 16, he began composing music, collaborating with his nephew, the well-known Hungarian producer, Karanyi.

In 2002-2003, they created several tracks together and performed as a live act in popular clubs in Budapest. After 2003, Kay-D took a break from music production to focus on his professional studies.

However, 2007 marked a turning point when he explored new production software and resumed composing music. His style draws from various genres, including Progressive House, Breaks, Tech-House, Tribal, Deep House, and Electro.

His first EP was released by CLS Music in March 2008. Since then, he has produced numerous tracks and remixes, joining Mistiquemusic in 2009 with an exclusive contract for his original works.

His debut album, 'Source Of Miracles,' was released in February 2010. This was followed by two more albums, 'Ways To My Soul' and 'Sapphire.'

Over the last decade, Kay-D has created more than 50 EPs and remixes. His music is easily recognisable for its distinctive melodic and atmospheric style.
