After Hours is hosted by PatriZe, who has announced his guest DJ, Sinan Arsan, for the upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia is the leading Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and promoter, representing the region both locally and internationally.
Showcasing genres from Progressive House to Techno and other house music sub-genres, After Hours features the best-emerging DJs and producers each week. The show focuses on the underground sounds currently dominating their respective scenes.
PatriZe (first hour) is a Belgian producer who began his musical journey at a young age, starting with turntables and quickly gravitating towards the harder sounds of Trance and Techno. Over time, his passion evolved into the melodic and intricate layers of Progressive House.
His breakthrough came in 2010 with Pole Folder of Bedrock Records and Reworck, alongside winning the prestigious Night Museum DJ competition in France, where he had the opportunity to warm up for progressive legend Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock).
PatriZe is known for his precise mixing, impeccable track selection, and seamless transitions, blending melodic elements with tech undertones. Currently based in Thailand, he broadcasts his acclaimed Foundations and After Hours series, featuring guest appearances on several global radio shows.
With his shows in Europe and the USA, he is dedicated to nurturing and expanding the underground Progressive House movement. As an active producer and founder of his label AH Digital, PatriZe continues to create, curate, and promote Progressive House across the globe.
For live performances, you can catch him spinning at venues like Beachspot (Jomtien Beach) and Thai Lounge & Terrace (Pattaya), among others. He is a prominent figure in the underground scene in Pattaya, drawing a loyal following with his captivating sets. In April 2015, he launched his label, AH Digital, with his collaborator Hypnotised, and his producing career quickly gained momentum.
The year 2015 saw all of Hypnotised & PatriZe's releases make it to the Beatport Progressive House Top 100 releases. Their debut EP, People from the Otherworld, reached number 4 in this chart and also broke into the Top 20 of the Techno and Tech House release charts. It was a great honour for the duo when Rui Da Silva, a top-selling artist, remixed the title track of their popular EP.
Now residing in Thailand, PatriZe regularly performs live and produces new tracks. Alongside his shows on our station, he also features on other radio platforms and releases music on respected labels, often trending in the Beatport charts.
Guest DJ Sinan Arsan.
This week's guest DJ for the second hour is Sinan Arsan, a Turkish DJ and producer from Ankara. He has been a part of the clubbing scene for many years, primarily through his business endeavours.
After years of DJing as a hobby, Sinan officially entered the DJ and production industry in 2017, following his victory in a competition in Istanbul. Since then, he has established himself within the Progressive House genre, both in his productions and as a DJ.
Sinan has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Cid Inc., Habischman, Ziger, Simos Tagias, Francesco Lombardo, and many others. He is also the owner and A&R of Soundeluxe Records, a label that specialises in Progressive House.
As a producer, Sinan has released tracks on several respected labels, including Mango Alley, Droid9, Soundteller Records, One Of A Kind, Another Life Music, Superordinate, Mistique Music, Future Avenue, Droid9 South America, Transensations Records, and Wold Records. In the upcoming year, he aims to continue releasing music on his label as well as others.
