This week on "After Hours" with Hypnotised, the guest DJ and playlists for the show on Monday, September 2, 2019, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT) have been revealed. This week's host is Hyponotised, who will be performing in the first hour. Hyponotised is originally from Ghent, Belgium, where he witnessed the thrilling beginnings of iconic events such as "I Love Techno" and "10 Days of Techno". During that time, he showcased a blend of different music styles in Ghent's largest party venue.
Currently, he captivates audiences with profound progressive and tech music. Alongside his accomplice PatriZe, he presents their well-received radio program "After Hours" on three global radio stations: TM Radio (USA), Cosmos Radio (Germany), and Scientific Sound Asia (Vietnam). These shows highlight the best progressive house producers, songs, and DJs
Aside from their weekly show, they also present a monthly show called "AH Digital Essentials" on Proton Radio (USA). Additionally, Hypnotised hosts a monthly show called “Energetic” on Progressive.Beats Radio (Germany).
Due to his captivating sets, he has been invited as a guest on numerous radio stations worldwide, including Ibiza Global Radio, Frisky Radio, DI FM, Golden Wings Music Radio, Insomnia FM, Groove City Radio, Fnoob Techno Radio, Piko Music, JustMusic FM, Urgent FM, Ibiza Soul-Radio, and many others.
His work consistently appears in the "Beatport top 100 releases" and receives support from numerous prominent artists in the industry. His debut EP, "People from the Otherworld," quickly climbed to the number 4 spot on the charts, with the title track later receiving a remix by the top-selling artist Rui Da Silva.
Most recently, Hypnotised's EP "Infinity" has enjoyed significant success on the Beatport releases charts, peaking at number 2 in the progressive house and trance genres, and number 3 in the techno category. Additionally, in 2016, he began creating music under the alias “Man on the Moon”, which proved to be a promising venture with his first release "Sense" being signed by the prestigious Bonzai label. Furthermore, he emerged victorious in one of Metapop’s remix competitions and received recognition and airtime on Belgium's top radio station "Studio Brussel".

DJ Ruby is the featured artist for this week's guest mix in the second hour. Hailing from the party island of Malta, DJ Ruby stands out as the most prolific underground dance music artist by far. He has garnered a dedicated fan base and created a significant buzz within the dance music industry.
Regarded as a genuine trailblazer in his field, he is a diligent and humble individual who has consistently grown alongside the industry. With more than two decades of experience under his belt, he has garnered numerous accomplishments and accolades that cannot be fully listed in a brief summary.
Playing a crucial role, DJ Ruby has been instrumental in initiating and molding Malta's top-tier dance music scene to its current state. Over numerous years, he organized numerous events through Pure Promotions, establishing new trends for different clubbing ideas on the island and exposing electronic dance music to multiple generations.
Since the early 90s, DJ Ruby's career has remained successful, with appearances at major dance events in Malta and opening for renowned artists like Faithless, The Prodigy, Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo, Sven Vath, Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, and Dave Seaman. Additionally, DJ Ruby has held residencies at various prestigious venues in Malta, including with the renowned label Renaissance.
Over time, DJ Ruby's diary has evolved into something akin to an atlas. He has showcased his talent in various countries around the world, including India, Ibiza, Russia, Germany, Jordan, Netherlands, Thailand, Australia, Italy, Dubai, USA, and Hong Kong, to mention just a few. In addition to these international gigs, he has also graced the line-up of renowned festivals like Timewarp, Ozora, Transmission, Creamfields, and Tomorrowland Unite.
With an extensive discography of original productions, remixes, and two albums, this music producer has received support from top DJs worldwide and has seen his tracks featured on digital platforms like Beatport and Traxsource. Following a prolonged hiatus from the studio to focus on DJ'ing and organizing events, he has recently decided to return to music production.
Having switched back and forth between the mainstream and underground music scenes for numerous years, DJ Ruby has finally established a solid presence in the progressive house genre since 2018. His reputation is already growing on a global scale.
His frequent live set recordings and Progcast show attract a large online following and often become viral, garnering consistent positive feedback from numerous prominent artists in the genre. In a brief period, he successfully revitalized the progressive house scene in Malta, largely due to his DJ Ruby Secret Series and Ruby & Friends events, which have already hosted esteemed figures like Guy J, Cid Inc., Stereo Underground, Jeremy Olander, Golan Zocher, and Emi Galvan.
When DJ Ruby is not in the studio or hosting events in Malta, he often travels between Russia and Asia to share his music. As a talented video editor, he incorporates self-produced visuals creatively into his performances.
