Bicycle Corporation guest DJ Giorgio Leone will be presenting his third 'Foundations' show. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music DJ agency, promoter, and radio station for Asia and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo of the DJ and Producer Marco MEI plus the talented Stefano Ugliano with the moniker 6884. The Italian team have released over 50 tracks and remixes across many genres including Deep House, Tech House, French House, Melodic and Techno.
In the early nineties, Marco embarked on his musical journey as a DJ and producer, performing at local events. Eventually, he started organizing his own Techno and House Music events with his group 'Urban People' throughout Italy.
His talent as a disc jockey earned him a strong reputation, leading to a residency at the renowned global club brand Pacha in Dar es Salaam, Egypt. This residency, combined with his ability to energize the crowd, resulted in international DJ bookings and propelled him on a global musical journey.
Raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano showed a remarkable talent for music from a young age. He pursued classical piano, percussion, and drums with fervour, adoring Chopin's compositions and the rhythms of the West African Djembe.
Yet, the image of the disc jockey energizing the crowd became increasingly captivating for the young Stefano. He pondered whether those elusive electronic beats, scarcely found on Italian radio stations in the ‘90s, might herald a new chapter in his life. It was then that Bicycle Corporation came into being.
Despite their global recognition, Marco and Stefan have not forgotten their roots as teenagers new to electronic music. They’ve recently been going back over some of their earlier tracks and even set up a Bandcamp page to distribute them.
The Foundations show spotlights renowned DJs and producers from across Asia who are integral to the electronic music scene. These artists enjoy both local and international acclaim.

This week's guest DJ is Giorgio Leone. Born in Catania, Italy, in the early nineties, Giorgio Leone is both a DJ and a producer. He has always had a passion for music production and began his journey in the DJ and producer scene in his hometown.
At the age of sixteen, he began creating his own tracks. By eighteen, he started performing at some of Catania's most popular clubs. These local shows provided him with the essential exposure he needed to gain recognition in the industry.
Currently based in Taipei, Taiwan, he released his initial tracks, "Infectious" and "Call Me," through the Neu Gravity record label. His music frequently mirrors a self-reflective journey, drawing from his life experiences.
With thunderous thumping rhythms, dark atmospheric soundscapes, and an electrifying energy that commands attention, his sound is bold and ethereal. It's guaranteed to set even the most lifeless dance floors ablaze with euphoric bliss.
His goal is to craft the ultimate vibes with his music, pushing the limits of the electronic genre He hopes to lead his audience to a state of energetic euphoria on the dance floor.
He’s known for his ability to hook the audience throughout the whole show with his commanding stage presence. He has also formed his music group “Our Muzik'' since moving to Taiwan which brings global recognition to the techno scene in the country and also promotes their record label.
