Bicycle Corporation has announced that guest DJ Brendon P will appear in episode 56 of their 'Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia functions as an electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company, serving audiences in Asia and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian DJ and producer duo consisting of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, who is also known by his alias 6884. They are renowned for their versatility, creating music in a range of genres including Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno.
In the early 1990s, Marco launched his career by organizing house music and techno events under the alias Urban People. His commitment and skill slowly gained him acclaim in the music scene, establishing him as a well-known artist across Italy. Nonetheless, Marco's aspirations reached beyond his homeland. His global reputation expanded, leading to international bookings, which represented a significant turning point in his career.
Stefano, originally from Torino, Italy, displayed an inherent talent for music early in life. He dedicated much of his spare time to cultivating his love for the musical arts. Through structured learning, he honed his skills in classical piano, percussion, and drums. His musical preferences were diverse, ranging from Chopin's works to the rhythms of the West African Djembe, reflecting his wide-ranging musical interests.
Stefano held a profound appreciation for different music genres, yet his true passion lay in his fervent admiration for Disc Jockeys and the music they produced. In the nineties, during his teenage years, Stefano was especially captivated by the rhythmic beats crafted by DJs, primarily because they were seldom played on Italian radio stations.
While playing music in front of a large audience might appear to be an unattainable dream for many, Stefano remained dedicated to his goal. Motivated by firm determination, relentless hard work, and unyielding dedication, he and Marco progressed to establish Bicycle Corporation.
Despite their recent achievements, Marco and Stefan remain true to their origins. They've been revisiting some of their initial tracks, taking a nostalgic trip, and have set up a Bandcamp page for distribution. Their Roots radio show highlights renowned DJs and producers from Asia's electronic music scene, showcasing their commitment to the region's vibrant musical landscape.
