Bicycle Corporation have announced guest DJ Brendon P for their 'Roots' 61 show. Scientific Sound Asia is an underground radio station, promoter, and DJ agency for the Asian Region and Internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian DJ and production duo composed of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known by his alias 6884. The pair has carved out a significant presence in the electronic music scene, having released over 50 tracks and remixes spanning a variety of genres, including Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno. Their versatility as producers and the infectious energy of their sound has garnered them a loyal fanbase around the world.
Marco's musical journey began in the early 1990s when he first started as a DJ and producer. He was part of a collective known as 'Urban People,' which gained a substantial following across Italy.
This early success led to a residency at the legendary Pacha nightclub, where he gained international recognition and began playing at renowned venues and festivals across the globe. Marco’s relentless drive and passion for music paved the way for an exciting career that would take him to many corners of the world, performing for diverse audiences and continually evolving his sound.
Stefano, hailing from Torino, Italy, was introduced to music at an early age, studying classical piano, percussion, and drums. His early influences included the works of Chopin and the rhythms of West African Djembes, but as a teenager, Stefano found himself drawn to the magnetic allure of electronic beats and the role of the DJ. In the early ‘90s, when electronic music was still struggling to break through in mainstream Italian media, Stefano recognised the opportunity to channel his musical passion into this emerging genre, and thus Bicycle Corporation was born.
Today, even with their success and worldwide acclaim, Marco and Stefano have remained grounded, frequently revisiting and reworking their earlier tracks. They’ve recently created a Bandcamp page to share these older releases with their fans, allowing a new generation to discover their roots.
Their journey has been one of consistent growth and innovation while staying true to the core principles that first inspired them. Bicycle Corporation continues to be a duo that pushes boundaries, blending their diverse influences and experiences to create timeless, dancefloor-ready tracks. They are available for bookings via our DJ agency for performances across Asia, bringing their infectious energy and dynamic sound to audiences throughout the region.

DJ Brendon P, born Brendon Perera, is a Singaporean DJ with nearly four decades of experience in the industry. Known for his low-profile, lo-fi approach to his craft, Brendon has built a reputation as a seasoned and versatile DJ with a deep love for the roots of dance music.
His journey began in 1980, starting in the local mobile circuit before moving to the club scene just a year later. A transformative trip to New York in 1984, where he visited iconic clubs such as Funhouse, Paradise Garage, Dancetaria, and Area, exposed him to the evolving house music culture that would shape his future sound.
Throughout his career, Brendon has immersed himself in a wide range of genres, including House, Techno, Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soul, Lounge, and Electronica. His eclectic taste and passion for dance music were further honed during his years of clubbing both locally and internationally. This musical diversity has made him a dynamic force behind the decks, with a keen ear for blending different genres and creating unique sets.
Brendon’s career boasts an impressive list of residencies at some of the region’s most renowned venues. He has had stints with prominent clubs such as Juliana’s and Bacchus, along with legendary residencies at Neo Pharaohs, Venom, and NOX throughout the ’90s. However, it was his nine-year residency at the iconic Zouk Club in Singapore that solidified his place in the annals of the local club scene.
Between 2001 and 2009, Brendon also held a two-year residency at Kyo, followed by four and a half years as a resident at the prestigious CE LA VI Rooftop Club & Skybar at Marina Bay Sands.
Brendon’s reach extends beyond Singapore, with performances in cities such as Geneva, Gothenburg, Melbourne, London, New York, Miami, Taiwan, Hanoi, and Hong Kong.
One of the highlights of his career was playing at the legendary (now closed) Cielo Club in New York in June 2010. His global presence and experience have cemented his reputation as a DJ capable of captivating crowds around the world.
In addition to his work as a DJ, Brendon is also a talented producer, having released original tracks and remixes on labels such as In The Woods (USA), Los Grandes (Spain), Reversoulmusic (USA), and Audio Parallax (UK), among others. His commitment to maintaining a high standard of musical sophistication and style has earned him accolades from industry insiders, including Nicolas Mattar, owner of New York’s Cielo and Output, who has praised Brendon as a 'taste-master' and one of the finest DJs in the region.
With his ability to blend a wide range of musical influences and create captivating sets that cross time and genre, Brendon P remains a staple in the global club circuit, delivering nothing less than exceptional performances every time.
In this episode, DJ Brendon P takes us on a journey through a rich blend of genres, starting with the smooth grooves of Offshore & Coen’s “Modern Smoker,” setting the tone for a night of deep, atmospheric vibes. The energy shifts as Smashed Atoms’ “Lifted (Dub)” and Chris Grubizna’s “Right On Time” bring in a refreshing dose of Nu Disco, while sound support from Prins Thomas with his Disco remix of “Europe” delivers those signature deep house moments.
Tracks like Todd Terje & The Olsens' "Baby Do You Wanna Bump" and Prince's funky edit of “17 Days” bring those much-loved classic disco vibes, alongside standout remixes like Isaac Hayes' “Shaft” (MikeandTess Re-work), reintroducing the timeless sounds with a contemporary flair.
