Bicycle Corporation have announced guest DJ Brendon P for their 'Roots' 63 show. Scientific Sound Asia Radio is the underground radio station, DJ agency, and promoter for the Asian Region and Internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian DJ and production duo consisting of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, better known as 6884. Over the years, they have built an impressive catalog with more than 50 releases spanning genres such as Techno, Deep House, House, Melodic, and French House.
Marco’s journey into music began in the early 1990s when he became part of the crew for Urban People, an event series that gained significant traction in Italy. His talent and passion quickly led him to become one of the most in-demand DJs across the country. As his reputation grew, international opportunities soon followed, and Marco found himself performing at clubs and festivals worldwide, solidifying his status as a globally recognised DJ.
Stefano, originally from Torino, Italy, exhibited an early fascination with music, devoting much of his time to mastering various instruments. He studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, developing a deep appreciation for composers like Chopin and the rhythms of the West African Djembe.
However, despite his classical training, Stefano found himself captivated by the world of DJs and electronic music. The hypnotic beats, rarely heard on Italian radio stations at the time, intrigued him, and he soon envisioned a career that would allow him to craft and perform his own electronic soundscapes.
Determined to turn this passion into reality, Stefano dedicated himself to learning the craft of DJing and music production. His persistence, combined with Marco’s extensive experience in the club circuit, led to the formation of Bicycle Corporation.
Despite their success, Marco and Stefano have remained true to their roots. Recently, they have revisited some of their earlier works, reworking and remastering tracks to share them with a new generation of listeners. To make these releases more accessible, they have established a Bandcamp page where fans can explore their evolving sound.
Bicycle Corporation continues to push the boundaries of electronic music while maintaining their commitment to authenticity and quality. With a solid foundation in both performance and production, they are a formidable presence in the global dance music scene. They are currently available for bookings via our DJ agency for Asia, bringing their signature sound and dynamic energy to audiences across the region.

Guest DJ Brendon P.
DJ Brendon P, whose real name is Brendon Perera, is a Singaporean native renowned for his low-profile, lo-fi approach to his craft. With a career spanning nearly four decades, he has become a stalwart in both local and international club scenes.
His journey began in 1980 within the local mobile circuit, and by the following year, he had transitioned into club settings. A pivotal moment in 1984 saw him visiting New York, where iconic venues like the Funhouse, Paradise Garage, Danceteria, and Area immersed him in the city's vibrant club culture and the burgeoning sounds that would evolve into contemporary house music.
Throughout his extensive career, Brendon has showcased a vast musical repertoire, seamlessly blending genres such as House, Techno, Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soul, Lounge, and Electronica. His keen ear and passion for dance music have been evident in his numerous residencies.
In the 1990s, he held positions with the Juliana’s and Bacchus groups, as well as with clubs like Neo Pharaohs, Venom, and NOX. Notably, he enjoyed a nine-year residency at Singapore's globally acclaimed Zouk Club. Between July 2001 and May 2009, he also held a two-year residency at Kyo and spent four and a half years as part of the resident team at the upscale CE LA VI Rooftop Club & Skybar at Marina Bay Sands.
Brendon's influence extends beyond Singapore. He has performed in cities worldwide, including Geneva, Gothenburg, Melbourne, London, New York, Miami, Taipei, Hanoi, and Hong Kong. A highlight of his international gigs was playing at the renowned Cielo Club in New York in June 2010. As a producer, he has released original tracks and remixes on labels such as In The Woods (USA), Los Grandes (Spain), Reversoulmusic (USA), and Audio Parallax (UK), among others.
Brendon's dedication to musical style and sophistication, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail, has earned him high praise. Nicolas Matar, owner of New York's Cielo and Output, lauded him as a "taste-master" and one of the best DJs in the region. Audiences can anticipate sets that traverse a broad spectrum of musical boundaries, encompassing past, present, and future sounds.
In Roots 63, guest DJ Brendon P delivers an infectious mix of disco, house, and funk-infused rhythms. Opening with the shimmering Italo disco vibes of DJ Duckcomb & Dino Soccio’s “Holidays” and JKriv’s remix of Turbotito, the set effortlessly moves through nu disco cuts like Moonlight Matters’ “Kitt (Yuksek Edit)” and Hotmood’s groovy “Set Me On Fire.”
Classic disco gets a modern twist with reworks of Central Line’s “Walking Into Sunshine” and Hot Chocolate’s “Heaven’s In The Backseat Of My Cadillac.” Meanwhile, JB Edits' "Encounter Of The Funk Kind" and Disco For The People’s “Groove King” add pure dancefloor energy. The journey continues into deep house territory with dOP’s “Stone Love (Sex Judas Remix)” and Patrice Rushen’s “Haven’t You Heard” (Joey Negro Extended Disco Mix), blending seamless funk and soulful melodies.
Brendon P masterfully curates a selection that bridges past and present, delivering a timeless groove for lovers of disco and house.
