Bicycle Corporation has announced that guest DJ Brendon P will appear in episode 40 of their 'Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia functions as an electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company, serving audiences in Asia and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian DJ and producer duo consisting of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, who is also known by his alias 6884. They are celebrated for their versatility, producing music across various genres such as Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno.
In the early 1990s, Marco began his career by leading house music and techno events under the name Urban People. His dedication and talent gradually earned him recognition in the music industry, making him a popular artist throughout Italy. However, Marco's ambitions extended beyond his home country. His international reputation grew, resulting in bookings worldwide, which marked an important milestone in his career path.
Stefano, hailing from Torino, Italy, showed a natural inclination towards music from a young age. He spent a significant portion of his free time nurturing his passion for the musical world. Through formal education, he refined his abilities in classical piano, percussion, and drums. His musical tastes were broad, encompassing both Chopin's compositions and the beats of the West African Djembe, showcasing his varied musical interests.
Stefano had a deep appreciation for various music genres. However, his greatest passion was his intense love for Disc Jockeys and the music they crafted. In the nineties, during his teenage years, Stefano was especially drawn to the rhythmic beats created by DJs, particularly due to their rarity on Italian radio stations.
Although performing music before a large audience might seem like an impossible dream to many, Stefano stayed committed to his goal. Driven by steadfast determination, tireless effort, and unwavering dedication, he and Marco moved forward to create Bicycle Corporation.
Despite their recent successes, Marco and Stefan stay connected to their roots. They've recently revisited some of their early tracks, embarking on a nostalgic journey, and have established a Bandcamp page for distribution. Their Roots radio show features famous DJs and producers from Asia's electronic music scene, demonstrating their dedication to the region's lively musical environment.
