Bicycle Corporation has revealed that guest DJ Jasmine Li will be featured on episode 46 of their 'Foundations' show. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music station based in Asia that airs its broadcasts both locally and globally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo consisting of the DJ and producer Marco Mei and the skilled Stefano Ugliano who goes by the alias 6884. At present, the duo from Italy has put out more than 50 tracks and remixes spanning various genres such as Deep House, Tech House, French House, Melodic, and Techno.
During the early nineties, Marco embarked on his musical career as a DJ and producer, performing at local house music and techno events. Eventually, he progressed to organizing his own events alongside his colleagues, collectively known as 'Urban People,' spanning across Italy.
Having obtained a residency at the well-known nightclub franchise Pacha, he relocated to Africa and began his residency in South Sanai, Egypt, more precisely in Sharm el Sheikh. His success persisted as he began receiving bookings for events worldwide.
Stefano, who was born and raised in Torino, Italy, showed a great talent for music during his childhood. He enthusiastically studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, with a particular fondness for Chopin and West African Djembe.
Nevertheless, the image of the DJ captivating the audience became increasingly mesmerizing for young Stefano. He pondered whether those electronic beats, which were scarce on Italian radio stations in the '90s, could lead to a completely new phase in his life, and thus Bicycle Corporation was born.
Even though Marco and Stefan are now internationally known, they still remember their humble beginnings as teenagers exploring electronic music. Lately, they have been revisiting some of their old tracks and have even established a Bandcamp page to share them. Their Foundations show showcases renowned DJs and producers from Asia who are part of the electronic dance music genre community.

The guest DJ for this week is Jasmine Li. Jasmine Li, originally from Guangzhou, is a DJ, producer, and acoustic musician currently based in Valencia, Spain. She has been a prominent figure in the electronic music industry in China for more than two decades, with a 15-year stint in Shanghai.
Originating as a professional Chinese classical and operatic musician, her strong foundation in the performing arts is evident. Her renowned reputation in the traditional music scene facilitated her shift towards electronic music and making house music songs.
After discovering her passion, Jasmine pursued it by becoming the co-founder and charismatic owner of Shanghai's well-known underground club Celia, known for its deep house and dark techno music.
By adding this to her two previous club ventures, Shiva Lounge and Downtown, she has unquestionably made a lasting impact on Shanghai's music scene. Jasmine frequently performs in Asia and Europe, showcasing her talent at renowned events such as Elrow, Amsterdam Dance Event, A Summer Story, Great Wall Festival, and others.
When she’s not DJ’ing or performing live, Jasmine can be found in her subterranean Shanghai studio producing music under her Silverlining project. This has incorporated the traditional Chinese sounds of the Pipa and Guzhen instruments into electronic music.
Having nearly 20 years of international experience under her belt, Jasmine Li has shared the stage with numerous international DJs such as Sasha, Darren Emerson, Deadmau5, Mark Knight, Armin Van Buuren, Adana Twins, and many others.
