Bicycle Corporation welcomes guest DJ Murphy Kin, also known as DJ Lucy, for the debut of his next 'Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency within Asia and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation, the Italian DJ and producer duo of Marco Mei and the talented Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, have released more than 50 tracks and remixes within the electronic music spectrum.
In the early nineties, Marco embarked on a transformative musical journey that would shape his career as a DJ and producer. With a passion for House Music and Techno pulsating through his veins, he set out to make his mark on the vibrant Italian music scene. Gathering like-minded individuals, Marco founded 'Urban People,' a collective dedicated to pushing the boundaries of electronic music across Italy.
This gained him significant notoriety within the music industry, solidifying his reputation as a talented and sought-after DJ. His residency at Pacha, a renowned nightclub, marked a pivotal moment in his career, opening doors to numerous opportunities on a global scale. The international DJ bookings that followed were a testament to his skill and charisma behind the decks, propelling him into the spotlight of the electronic music scene worldwide.
Raised in the culturally rich city of Torino, Italy, Stefano was surrounded by a vibrant musical atmosphere from a young age. His early years were marked by a remarkable display of talent and passion for music. Immersed in the world of classical piano, percussion, and drums, Stefano's dedication to his craft was evident in every note he played.
Stefano's love for music was truly eclectic, ranging from the intricate compositions of Chopin to the rhythmic beats of West African Djembes. His musical journey was a fusion of traditional European melodies and the soulful rhythms of distant lands, creating a unique and captivating sound that was all his own.
As time passed, the image of the DJ standing on stage performing became increasingly captivating for teenage Stefano. He pondered whether those electronic beats, which were difficult to find on Italian radio stations in the '90s, would lead to a new chapter in his life. His encounter with Marco marked the beginning of Bicycle Corporation.

The guest DJ for this week is Murphy Kin, also known as DJ Lucy. DJ Lucy is always eager to explore new things and is never content with just scratching the surface. Coming from a background in the film industry, DJ Lucy finds that being a DJ and creating music offers endless possibilities and freedom.
Lucy's music is an immersive experience akin to a cinematic journey. It offers a diverse range of rhythms and tempos, not confined to the typical 125~128 BPM or a constant 4/4 beat. Under the guidance of DJ Lucy, Ting Ting Disco has gained a reputation for hosting fantastic events at various bars, pubs, clubs, and venues in Taipei and Shanghai since 2015. Starting in 2017, Ting Ting Disco expanded its music performances to other cities in China and embarked on consecutive tours across Asia.
In 2021, the goal is to offer more than just events by introducing online music as well. By gathering and incorporating music creations from around the globe, it offers music enthusiasts a wider variety of musical options.
During his live performances, you will discover that he is a musician who operates without constraints or predetermined scripts.
