Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo consisting of the DJ and producer Marco Mei and the talented Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. They have collectively released more than 50 tracks and remixes in the House Music and Techno genres.
In the early 1990s, Marco embarked on his musical path as a DJ and producer, exploring record shops throughout Turin. Eventually, he initiated his own Afrocentric, House, and Techno events under the collective name 'Urban People' across Italy.
This brought him notoriety and secured him a residency at Pacha in Egypt, leading to international DJ bookings. This initiated a global musical journey that he continues to pursue today.
Growing up in Torino, Italy, Stefano demonstrated a strong aptitude for music from a young age. He passionately studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, and had a deep appreciation for Chopin's compositions as well as the vibrant energy of West African Djembes.
As he matured, the image of 'the DJ on stage performing' became increasingly captivating for the young Stefano. He pondered whether those elusive electronic beats, difficult to find on '90s Italian radio stations, would usher in a new chapter in his life. Then he met Marco, and Bicycle Corporation was founded.
