Bicycle Corporation has revealed that DJ Jasmine Li will be the guest on episode 68 of their 'Electronic Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic dance music genre station based in Asia that airs its broadcasts both regionally and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation comprises the Italian duo consisting of DJ and Producer Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, who is more commonly recognized as 6884. Throughout their music career, they have created a vast catalogue of tracks exceeding 50, spanning various genres such as French House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno.
Starting in the early nineties, Marco kickstarted his career as a crew member for house music and techno events such as 'Urban People.' Over time, he made a name for himself in the music industry and became highly sought-after throughout Italy. His success didn't end there, as he began receiving bookings from around the world after establishing himself in his home country.
After achieving success in his home country, he obtained a residency at the well-known nightclub franchise Pacha. He then relocated to Africa to begin his residency in South Sinai, Egypt, particularly in Sharm el Sheikh. His accomplishments persisted as he began receiving bookings for events worldwide.
Since his childhood, Stefano from Torino, Italy displayed great potential as a musician. He developed a strong passion for musical arts, dedicating most of his free time to it. Stefano learned classical piano, percussion, and drums, and also admired the works of Chopin and West African Djembe.
Despite his deep appreciation for various music genres, Stefano had a special fondness for one particular aspect: the DJ. The individual controlling the music became particularly captivating for the young Stefano, as those beats were rarely heard on any Italian radio station at the time.
For most people, producing such sounds and performing in front of large audiences would appear to be an unrealistic goal. However, Stefano remained undeterred, driven by his vision to successfully establish Bicycle Corporation through relentless hard work, dedication, and determination.
Despite their current success, Marco and Stefan have not overlooked their modest origins. Lately, they have revisited some of their earlier tracks and established a Bandcamp page to share them. Their Electronic Roots show highlights some of the biggest electronic music artists across Asia playing a variety of genres including House, Techno, Afro House, Organic House, Tech House, Melodic House, Arabica House, Melodic Techno, and many more.
