Terence C, a guest DJ from Bicycle Corporation, will present his forthcoming Electronic Roots show on Scientific Sound Asia. As the premier electronic dance music genre station, promoter and DJ agency in Asia, Scientific Sound Asia caters to audiences both locally and internationally.

Bicycle Corporation is the collaborative project of the Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and the skilled Stefano Ugliano, who is also known as 6884. Together, they have produced and remixed over 50 original tracks in the House and Techno genres, solidifying their influence in the electronic music scene.

In the early nineties, Marco embarked on his music journey as a DJ, inspired by the emergence of Electronic music and Afrocentric rhythms. Upon entering the music industry, he initiated Urban People, a series of House music and Techno events held at various locations throughout Italy.

Starting here, Marco embarked on a significant venture in the electronic music industry, delving deeper into sound experimentation and event planning. His talent on the decks promptly garnered recognition, leading to a coveted residency at Pacha in Egypt.

Assuming this vital position not only elevated his reputation within the industry but also opened doors to international DJ gigs, propelling him into a worldwide musical journey. The recognition he garnered during his time at Pacha marked the beginning of Marco's quest to present his musical talents to global audiences.

Stefano, who was born in Torino, Italy, displayed remarkable musical abilities from a young age. Guided by his parents into the realm of music, he wholeheartedly pursued his passion for music, delving into classical piano, percussion, and drums with utmost dedication. His musical tastes and inspirations were broad, encompassing Chopin's heartfelt pieces and the vibrant beats of West African Djembe.

Stefano acquired a profound musical knowledge through thorough exploration and practice, shaping his influence on the electronic music scene. As Stefano matured, his passion for music evolved, drawing him into the captivating realm of electronic DJs enchanting ravers.

Unaware that the lively electronic music seldom played on Italian radio stations in the '90s, would have a profound impact on his life, Stefano found himself drawn to the captivating rhythms and melodies of this genre.

Even with their current achievements, Marco and Stefano remain grounded in their humble origins. Recently, they revisited some of their initial songs, demonstrating their commitment to honouring their musical roots. Additionally, they have established a Bandcamp page to showcase their works, emphasizing their dedication to preserving their artistic legacy.

Hosted by Marco and Stefano, Electronic Roots is a radio show focusing on House Music and Techno, serving as a platform to showcase notable artists from different regions of Asia. The initiative aims to celebrate the diverse talent within the Asian electronic music scene while fostering connections and collaborations across the global music community.
