Terence C, a guest DJ from Bicycle Corporation, is set to host his forthcoming show, Electronic Roots 126, on Scientific Sound Asia. Known as Asia's premier electronic dance music station, promoter, and DJ agency, Scientific Sound Asia connects with audiences both locally and globally.

Bicycle Corporation is a partnership between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and talented producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. They have collaborated to produce and remix more than 50 original tracks in the House and Techno genres, significantly influencing the electronic music scene.

Marco started his DJ career in the early 1990s, driven by the emergence of electronic music and Afro-centric rhythms. As he entered the industry, he established Urban People, which organized House and Techno events throughout Italy. This endeavour allowed Marco to delve deeper into sound and hone his event organization skills, ultimately leading to a residency at Pacha in Egypt.

This pivotal role enhanced his reputation, paving the way for international DJ opportunities that initiated his global career. His time at Pacha ignited his passion to showcase his talents to audiences around the world.

Stefano, who hails from Torino, Italy, showed remarkable musical talent from a young age. Encouraged by his parents to follow a musical path, he dedicated himself to classical piano, percussion, and drums, drawing inspiration from diverse musical styles such as Chopin and West African rhythms. This rich background has significantly shaped his work in electronic music.

Stefano's early encounter with a variety of music genres laid a strong groundwork for his artistic path. His fascination with electronic music began in the 1990s, a period when it was seldom broadcast on Italian radio, but its rhythms and melodies enthralled him.

In spite of their many achievements, Marco and Stefano continue to be humble. They have revisited some of their initial works, reaffirming their dedication to their musical origins. Recently, they introduced a Bandcamp page to share their creations, highlighting their commitment to maintaining their artistic legacy.

Electronic Roots, hosted by Marco and Stefano, is a radio show focused on House and Techno, providing a stage for prominent artists throughout Asia. This project honours the vibrant Asian electronic music scene and encourages international connections and collaborations.
