Bicycle Corporation has announced that Indonesian trio We Are Neurotic will be the featured guests on their upcoming Foundations episode 92 radio show. Operating as both an electronic music station and a DJ agency, Scientific Sound Asia serves as a vibrant hub for both local and international audiences across the Asian region.

Bicycle Corporation represents an exciting collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and the talented Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Marco Mei's journey into the world of music began in the early 1990s when he embarked on his career as a DJ and music producer.

After a brief introduction to the music scene, Marco Mei began organizing House Music and Techno events under the banner of 'Urban People' across Italy. These events quickly gained popularity and success, establishing Marco as a prominent figure in the Italian music scene.

After a decade of shaping the Italian music landscape, Marco decided to take his talents abroad. He made the bold move to Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, where he secured a residency with the internationally renowned party brand, Pacha. This residency marked a new chapter in Marco's career, allowing him to showcase his skills to a diverse and global audience while continuing to push the boundaries of electronic music culture.

Marco Mei's exceptional talent for crafting distinctive sets and producing impressive music quickly garnered attention from industry insiders, propelling him to international recognition as a DJ of remarkable calibre. His prowess behind the decks has afforded him the privilege of sharing stages with esteemed artists such as David Morales, Justin Berkman, Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry Romero, Ralph Falcon, and many other luminaries of the electronic music scene.

Stefano, a talented musician hailing from Torino, Italy, demonstrated remarkable potential early on in his musical journey. His passion for music quickly became a consuming force, occupying much of his free time and driving his creative pursuits.

Exploring various musical avenues, Stefano delved into the realms of classical piano, percussion, and drums, immersing himself in the diverse sounds and rhythms of different instruments. Alongside his musical studies, he developed a profound appreciation for the compositions of Chopin, embracing the emotive depth and technical brilliance of the classical repertoire.

Additionally, Stefano found inspiration in the rich traditions of West African music, particularly drawn to the intricate rhythms and cultural significance of the Djembe drum. This multifaceted approach to music not only shaped Stefano's artistic identity but also laid the foundation for his future endeavours as a musician and performer.

Stefano harboured a profound passion for a diverse array of music genres, yet it was the world of DJing that truly captured his heart. As a teenager, Stefano found himself irresistibly drawn to the allure of the DJ, intrigued by the captivating beats and infectious rhythms emanating from behind the turntables.

What set the DJ apart was the ability to curate and showcase music that was seldom heard on Italian radio stations at that time. It was this sense of musical exploration and discovery that resonated deeply with Stefano, igniting his curiosity and inspiring him to explore the realm of DJ culture further.

Indeed, transforming the captivating sounds that inspired him and performing them in front of large audiences might have seemed like an unattainable dream for many. Through relentless effort and unwavering commitment, Stefano and Marco founded Bicycle Corporation.

Despite their current achievements, Marco and Stefano remain grounded in their humble beginnings. To share their musical journey, they have established a Bandcamp page where they offer insights into their creative process and share their earlier works with the world.

Moreover, their radio programs, dedicated to House Music, Techno, and other sub-genres serve as platforms for showcasing artists deeply intertwined with the electronic music scene in Asia. Through these programs, Marco and Stefano not only celebrate the diversity and richness of electronic music but also nurture connections within the vibrant Asian music community.
