Bicycle Corporation has unveiled the playlist for their forthcoming episode 103 of Foundations. Scientific Sound Asia is a renowned online radio station, promoter, and DJ agency, serving the Asian market and maintaining a worldwide presence.

Bicycle Corporation is made up of the Italian DJ and producer duo, Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Throughout their time in the music industry, they have developed an extensive discography with more than 50 tracks spanning genres such as French House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno.

Marco embarked on his music career in the early 1990s, immersing himself in the vibrant House Music and Techno scene as a member of the Urban People team. His dedication and talent soon caught the music industry's eye, establishing him as a well-known DJ in Italy. However, Marco's ambitions extended beyond national borders, leading to international bookings that brought him to perform on stages around the globe.

Hailing from Torino, Italy, Stefano demonstrated musical talent early in life. With a keen passion for the arts, he dedicated much of his leisure time to honing his musical abilities. His enthusiasm for music led him to pursue formal education in classical piano, percussion, and drums, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse musical styles, including Chopin's works and the beats of the West African Djembe.

While Stefano had diverse musical interests, he was especially captivated by one element of music: DJing. Enthralled by the art of mixing records, young Stefano was fascinated by the beats rarely heard on Italian radio stations at the time. This fascination with DJing ignited his passion for electronic music and drove him towards a career in the industry.

For some, the idea of creating and performing electronic music before large audiences might seem like an unattainable dream. However, Stefano remained steadfast in his resolve, driven by a clear vision he was determined to bring to life.

After meeting Marco and realizing they shared a passion for music, they embarked on a journey marked by hard work, dedication, and unwavering determination. By working together, they transformed their shared dream into reality, founding Bicycle Corporation.

Although Marco and Stefano are currently successful, they remain grounded in their humble beginnings. Reflecting on their journey, they revisited some of their early songs, cherishing the memories of their musical development. To honour their origins, they launched a Bandcamp page to share these tracks, allowing fans to connect with their musical roots.

In this week's episode of Foundations, Bicycle Corporation curates an electrifying mix that highlights the duo's signature style of blending deep grooves with forward-thinking beats. Starting with Whirlpool Productions' "Fly Hi," the episode weaves through a kaleidoscope of sounds, from Adam F’s iconic drum and bass bootleg "Circles" to the Afro House flair of Rampa, Adam Port, &ME’s “Say What.”

Standout tracks include Caribou’s introspective "Volume," BLOND:ISH & Zeeba’s rhythmic "Different Way," and Prospa’s high-energy "This Rhythm." Bicycle Corporation balances timeless classics with fresh releases, creating a sonic landscape that celebrates the depth and diversity of electronic music. This episode is a must-listen for fans seeking a journey through Indie Dance, House, and Melodic Techno.
