Bicycle Corporation has published the music selection for their forthcoming 'Roots' performance. Scientific Sound Asia Radio is the penultimate underground radio station serving Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and the rest of Southeast Asia.
Bicycle Corporation comprises Marco Mei, a globally acclaimed DJ and producer, alongside Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they boast a repertoire of over 50 tracks and remixes, spanning across the House Music and Techno subgenres.
In 1991, Marco embarked on his journey as a DJ, initially hosting house music and techno events as part of the 'Urban People' collective across Italy. His talent quickly garnered attention, earning him fame within the scene. Before long, he secured a residency at Pacha, propelling him to international acclaim and paving the way for DJ gigs worldwide, marking the beginning of his global expedition in the music industry.
Hailing from Torino, Italy, Stefano exhibited remarkable musical aptitude from a young age, alongside a penchant for mathematics (though that's a tale for another time). He pursued his passion for music fervently, immersing himself in the study of classical piano, percussion, and drums. His love for both Chopin's compositions and West African Djembes resonated deeply within him, shaping his musical journey.
As time passed, the enigmatic persona of 'the guy behind the turntables' became increasingly captivating for the teenage Stefano. Little did he realise that those elusive electronic beats, scarcely audible on '90s Italian radio stations, would soon usher in a profoundly new chapter in his life.
