Bicycle Corporation is set to present its inaugural 'Electronic Roots' show, episode 39. Scientific Sound Asia serves as an Asian electronic music station, DJ agency, and event management company both regionally and globally.

Bicycle Corporation consists of the Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei alongside the talented Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. This Italian duo has produced and released more than 50 tracks and remixes across different genres of House Music and Techno.

In the early 1990s, Marco embarked on his musical career as a DJ and producer. He initiated his own events under the collective name 'Urban People' across Italy.

This brought him notoriety, securing a residency with the international party brand Pacha in Egypt, which earned him recognition and led to international DJ bookings, launching his musical journey worldwide.

Growing up in Torino, Italy, Stefano demonstrated a strong aptitude for music from a young age. He passionately studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, admired compositions by composers like Chopin, and enjoyed the rhythmic expressions of West African djembes.

Nevertheless, the image of 'the DJ on stage performing' became increasingly captivating for the young Stefano. He pondered whether those elusive electronic beats rarely found on '90s Italian radio stations, would usher in a new chapter in his life. He met Marco, and thus Bicycle Corporation was formed. Bicycle Corporation is available for booking through our DJ agency for Asia.

This episode of Electronic Roots showcases the mastery of blending genres like Melodic Techno, Acid House, Tech House, and Progressive Techno into a cohesive, electrifying experience. The seamless transitions between atmospheric melodies, driving basslines, and energetic grooves highlight Bicycle Corporation's ability to curate a diverse yet unified musical journey.

From the hypnotic rhythms of Deep Dish and the Afro-inspired vibes of BLOND_ISH to the acid-tinged classics of Orbital and Phortune, this set strikes a balance between nostalgic nods and fresh innovations. Whether you're a longtime fan of electronic music or exploring its dynamic sound, this episode is a must-listen for its versatility and infectious energy.
