Bicycle Corporation has revealed that DJ Jasmine Li will be the guest for episode 53 of their 'Foundations' series. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic dance music genre station based in Asia that broadcasts locally and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is composed of the DJ and Producer Marco Mei and the skilled Stefano Ugliano who goes by the name 6884. Together, this Italian duo has produced more than 50 tracks and remixes spanning various genres such as Deep House, Tech House, French House, Melodic, and Techno.
During the early nineties, Marco embarked on his musical career as a DJ and producer, performing at local techno and house music events. Over time, he started organizing his own events with his group, 'Urban People,' throughout Italy.
Following his residency at the prestigious nightclub chain Pacha, he relocated to Africa and commenced his residency in South Sanai, Egypt, more precisely in Sharm el Sheikh. His success persisted as he began receiving invitations to perform at events worldwide.
Stefano, who was born and raised in Torino, Italy, showed a great talent for music from a young age. He passionately studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, with a particular fondness for Chopin and West African Djembe.
Nevertheless, the image of the DJ captivating the audience became increasingly fascinating to young Stefano. He pondered whether those electronic beats, which were rare on Italian radio stations in the '90s, could lead to a completely new phase in his life, and thus Bicycle Corporation was born.
Even though Marco and Stefan are now globally recognized, they still remember their beginnings as teenagers discovering electronic music. Lately, they have revisited some of their early tracks and established a Bandcamp page to share them. Their Foundations show showcases renowned DJs and producers from Asia who are part of the electronic music community.

The guest DJ for this week is Jasmine Li, a DJ, producer, and acoustic musician originally from Guangzhou, China, and currently based in Valencia, Spain. Jasmine Li has been a prominent figure in the electronic music industry in China for more than two decades, with a significant part of her career spent in Shanghai for 15 years.
With a background as a professional Chinese classical and operatic musician, her foundation in the performing arts is unquestionable. Her recognition on a national level in this field helped her make a smooth shift into electronic music and producing House Music Songs.
Embracing her newfound passion, Jasmine became the co-founder and charismatic owner of Shanghai's notorious underground club Celia, known for its deep house and dark techno music.
By adding this to her two previous club ventures, Shiva Lounge and Downtown, she has undeniably made a lasting impact on Shanghai's music scene. Jasmine frequently travels around Asia and Europe, performing at renowned events such as Elrow, Amsterdam Dance Event, A Summer Story, Great Wall Festival, and others.
When Jasmine is not DJ'ing or performing live, she can be found in her underground studio in Shanghai working on music production for her Silverlining project. This project blends traditional Chinese sounds from the Pipa and Guzhen instruments with electronic music.
Having accumulated almost 20 years of global experience, Jasmine Li has shared the stage with numerous international DJs such as Sasha, Darren Emerson, Deadmau5, Mark Knight, Armin Van Buuren, Adana Twins, and others. In her upcoming show this month, she will be showcasing Afro House, Melodic Techno, and Organic House genres. Tune in to catch her on Scientific Sound radio during the scheduled times.
