Bicycle Corporation has revealed that DJ Jasmine Li will be the guest for episode 64 of their 'Foundations' show. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic dance music genre station in Asia that broadcasts locally and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation consists of the Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and the skilled Stefano Ugliano who goes by the name 6884. At present, this Italian duo has put out more than 50 tracks and remixes spanning various genres such as Deep House, Tech House, French House, Melodic, and Techno.
During the early nineties, Marco embarked on his musical career as a DJ and producer, performing at local events. Over time, he started organizing his own events with his group 'Urban People' throughout Italy.
Having achieved success in his native country, he secured a residency at the renowned nightclub chain Pacha. Subsequently, he moved to Africa to kick off his residency in South Sinai, Egypt, specifically in Sharm el Sheikh. His achievements continued to grow as he started getting bookings for events across the globe.
Stefano, born and raised in Torino, Italy, showed great musical talent from a young age. He enthusiastically studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, with a particular fondness for Chopin and the West African Djembe.
Nevertheless, the image of the DJ captivating the audience became increasingly fascinating to young Stefano. He pondered whether those electronic beats, which were rare on Italian radio stations in the '90s, could lead to a whole new phase in his life, ultimately leading to the evolution of Bicycle Corporation.
Even though Marco and Stefan are now widely recognized worldwide, they still remember their beginnings as teenagers exploring electronic music. Lately, they have been revisiting some of their early tracks and have also established a Bandcamp page to share them.
Their Foundations show features some of the most prominent electronic music artists from Asia performing a wide range of genres such as House, Techno, Afro House, Organic House, Tech House, Melodic House, Arabica House, Melodic Techno, and more.

The guest DJ for this week is Jasmine Li, who hails from Guangzhou but is now based in Valencia, Spain. Jasmine Li, a DJ, producer, and acoustic musician, has been a prominent figure in China's electronic music scene for more than two decades, with a 15-year stint in Shanghai.
With a background in professional Chinese classical and operatic music, her foundation in the performing arts is unquestionable. Her recognition on a national level in this field provided her with an advantage when she shifted to electronic music and produced techno and house music songs.
Embracing her new passion, Jasmine became the co-founder and charismatic owner of Shanghai's renowned underground club Celia, known for its vibrant atmosphere featuring deep house and dark techno music.
By adding this to her two previous club ventures, Shiva Lounge and Downtown, she has undoubtedly made a lasting impact on Shanghai's music scene. Jasmine frequently tours Asia and Europe, performing at renowned events such as Elrow, Amsterdam Dance Event, A Summer Story, Great Wall Festival, and others.
When Jasmine is not DJ’ing or performing live, she can be discovered in her underground studio in Shanghai creating music under her Silverlining project. This project involves blending the traditional Chinese sounds of the Pipa and Guzhen instruments with electronic music.
With almost two decades of worldwide experience, Jasmine Li has shared the stage with numerous international DJs such as Sasha, Darren Emerson, Deadmau5, Mark Knight, Armin Van Buuren, Adana Twins, and others. Her upcoming show will showcase Afro House, Melodic House, Downtempo, and Organic House.
