Blaze DJ has announced the lineup for the forthcoming episode 39 of his 'Ministry of Breaks' show on our radio station. Scientific Sound Asia stands as the premier electronic music station, event organizer, and DJ agency in Asia, committed to catering to a wide international audience.

Originating from Walthamstow in the East End of London, U.K., Blaze DJ is a British DJ and producer deeply connected to the underground music culture and the art of DJing. He has continuously nurtured a close relationship with this vibrant scene throughout his professional journey.

The "10,000 hours rule" suggests that around 10,000 hours of concentrated practice are needed to attain mastery in a particular field. However, Blaze DJ views the 10,000 hours more as a starting point or a phase of training.

Blaze DJ has spent countless hours perfecting his skills, developing a profound and intuitive expertise in using turntables, selecting music, and engaging the audiences he entertains. Growing up in a household immersed in diverse musical genres, he credits his parents and siblings as his main sources of inspiration.

Blaze DJ's music taste was influenced by a mix of Jazz, Funk, Disco, New Romantics, and '80s synth-pop. Yet, it was in 1987, while still in school, that he had a pivotal moment when he came across the cassette tape 'House Sounds of Chicago Volume 1.' This find transformed music from a mere pastime to a profound force that shaped his social relationships, professional journey, and every aspect of his existence.

Blaze DJ started his career when he was only 15 years old, rapidly gaining recognition as a DJ. His early shows at a pub in Edmonton were a hit with the audience, which resulted in frequent bookings in Birmingham and Faliraki. His performances at these locations never failed to amaze the large crowds, sometimes attracting as many as 2,000 people.

With a wealth of experience accumulated throughout his DJing career, Blaze DJ has refined his skills and earned a reputation as a seasoned veteran in the industry. Having played a significant role in the Acid House movement, he considers himself fortunate to have observed the evolution of the UK's electronic music scene from its inception to the current day.

Despite having spent three decades in the industry, Blaze DJ continues to showcase the same level of passion and energy in his performances, reminiscent of his early days at legendary parties in the early '90s. His unwavering devotion to house music remains unchanged throughout his extraordinary career.

Blaze DJ expertly combines influences from a wide array of artists spanning different time periods to craft his distinctive and groundbreaking sound. His music features a seamless fusion of traditional house elements, understated breaks, a touch of acid, and a dash of techno, resulting in a sound that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Blaze DJ's influence extended beyond his DJ sets. He garnered valuable knowledge during his visits to DJ stores and made history by pioneering the integration of DJing and production equipment in a single establishment in the country.

Additionally, he played a key role in transforming the retail environment for electronic music. Nevertheless, by 2005, Blaze DJ seemed to have become disinterested in performing. While he stayed active in the music sector as a sound and visual designer, focusing on enhancing sound setups in premier clubs globally, he eventually stepped back from DJing and set aside his headphones.

After a fifteen-year hiatus, Blaze DJ has made a comeback with renewed enthusiasm and a strong determination to succeed in his shows. Quickly gaining traction, he has conquered obstacles from the previous year and landed three monthly radio gigs with Ibiza Club News, Underground Kollektiv, and Scientific Sound Asia.

With a wide range of breaks and breakbeat songs under his belt, he is ready to make a major return to the nightclub scene. Having connections to Industrial Force and Zeta Records, his impact has been felt for more than three decades, establishing him as a committed figure in the global breaks music community.

Over the past few years, the Ministry of Breaks (MOB) brand has gained more popularity in London, the capital of the UK, because of its unique mix of breaks, bass, and bleeps. At the same time, Blaze DJ has been actively broadening the brand's reach across various platforms.

Recently, he revamped his personal YouTube channel as well as the MOB YouTube channel, establishing a platform to showcase their distinctive sound and connect with a wider audience. Blaze DJ has been instrumental in coordinating Breaks n Bass events, enhancing the nightlife scene, and solidifying MOB's presence in the London music community.

Blaze is occupied with launching fresh mixes weekly, organizing MOB Open Deck Nights in East London, showcasing live performances, and creating new tracks in the studio. Recently, he released the new track To the Beat on Band Camp, as well as Bootleg remixes of Blah Blah Blah by Armin van Buuren and Tiesto on Lethal Industry.

Blaze DJ’s Ministry of Breaks episode 39 is a high-energy showcase of the best in Breaks, UK Bass, Tech Funk, and Acid Breaks. With tracks from the legendary Stanton Warriors, DJ Baby Anne, and remixes by Huda Hudia, this episode is packed with underground beats and dynamic rhythms.

From the nostalgic Oldskool vibes of Shy FX & UK Apache’s "Original Nuttah" to the modern breakbeat sound of Blaze DJ’s own "Ride Da Rhythm," this mix is a must-listen for fans of breakbeat culture. Don't miss the live broadcast on Friday, October 25th, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT), and catch a re-run on Tuesday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT).
