Coh-hul, a Tech Funk and Tech House pioneer, is a DJ and Producer who has been residing in Saigon, Vietnam for 7 years. His unique style combines Afro/Latin rhythms, tribal percussion, and groovy melodies with powerful basslines.
He was greatly inspired by the Dirtybird and Relief record labels in shaping his music style. In Vietnam, he became a well-known DJ with residencies at leading clubs in Saigon. The highlight of his career was his performance at Le Chapiteau in Marseille, a sold-out venue where he delivered his best set yet.
Prior to departing Vietnam to pursue his dream of DJing in Brazil, he organized his inaugural event 'Coh-hul Invites...' (A celebration of Love & Music), featuring 25 artists in one night, showcasing various music genres from Afrobeat to Electronic, Ghetto Tech to Surf Punk. The event was a hit, drawing a crowd of 500 attendees.
The show 'Play it Loud' features top-notch Tech-house & Tech-funk music. Coh-hul hosts his radio show 'Play It Loud' dedicated to Tech House Music on Scientific Sound Asia Radio, consistently ranking in the top 10 across different genres on Mixcloud.
Additionally, he hosts a YouTube series named 'Seshnikov'. The series provides advice on music production and presents a selection of his latest track concepts.
Coh-hul's music is now available on Beatport, Spotify, and Bandcamp. He is currently dedicated to producing music and aims to have his tracks played on dance floors. We can expect an exciting and promising future ahead for this artist.
Featuring the latest trending songs, the monthly show shifts its attention to showcasing a record label that he finds inspiring during the final hour. Lately, he has been concentrating on music production.
His song 'Oh Yeah' was picked up by Spoon Fed Records, and the compilation it featured on climbed to the top spot in the Bass House charts on Beatport. He has several other tracks lined up for release by different labels and is currently collaborating on a charity project with Blue Dragon, a Vietnamese children's charity.
After returning to Vietnam, he has developed a fresh focus and determination regarding his career goals. As a result, this show is dedicated to ambition, determination, and consistency. This month, there will be no record label mix featured and the show will delve into Tech Funk, Tech House, Tech, Bass, Techno, and Disco.
Tune in on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT) for a two-hour showcase of the latest music releases, culminating in a nostalgic throwback at the end of the broadcast. The show will also be rebroadcast on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM (ICT).
