Coh-hul has released his playlist for episode 41 of 'Play it Load'. Scientific Sound Asia is an electronic music station, promoter, and DJ Agency for the Asian region with a global audience.
Coh-hul, a Tech Funk and Tech House pioneer, is a DJ and Producer who has been residing in Saigon, Vietnam for 7 years. His unique style combines Afro/Latin rhythms, tribal percussion, and groovy melodies with powerful basslines.
His music style was greatly influenced by the Dirtybird and Relief record labels. In Vietnam, he established himself as a popular DJ, holding residencies at top clubs in Saigon. The pinnacle of his career was his performance at Le Chapiteau in Marseille, a sold-out venue where he delivered his most outstanding set to date.
Before leaving Vietnam to chase his dream of DJing in Brazil, he arranged his first event 'Coh-hul Invites...' (A celebration of Love & Music), with 25 artists performing in one night, presenting a range of music styles from Afrobeat to Electronic, Ghetto Tech to Surf Punk. The event was a success, attracting a crowd of 500 people.
'Play it Loud' showcases high-quality Tech-house & Tech-funk music. Coh-hul presents his radio program 'Play It Loud' exclusively focused on Tech House Music on Scientific Sound Asia Radio, consistently achieving a top 10 position among various genres on Mixcloud.
Furthermore, he is the host of a YouTube show called 'Seshnikov'. This show offers guidance on music production and showcases a variety of his most recent track ideas.
Coh-hul's music is now available on Beatport, Spotify, and Bandcamp. He is currently dedicated to producing music and aims to have his tracks played on dance floors. We can expect an exciting and promising future ahead for this artist. The monthly show highlights the newest popular songs and dedicates its final hour to spotlighting a record label that he admires. Recently, his focus has been on creating music.
His track 'Oh Yeah' was discovered by Spoon Fed Records, and the compilation on which it was included reached the number one position in the Bass House charts on Beatport. He has multiple other songs scheduled for release through various labels and is presently working together with Blue Dragon, a Vietnamese children's charity, on a charitable initiative.
Since being back in Vietnam he has a new sense of ambition. He is focused on being consistent and determined to get what he is hoping for from life. For this month the show is dedicated to Qwerk run by Rodney Dinkles and Wooja. This label has shown Coh-hul a lot of love in his early career as a producer. He has 3 tracks out on this cool label and is set to have another coming out with them sometime soon.
The label offers the freedom to be silly... to showcase qwerky expressions. Nothing can be too weird in the Qwerk universe. Be sure to check out the label mix in the second half of the show to see what they're about… but before then as always we will hear the best tracks that have come out since the last episode, a blast from the past and this month will feature a funky wildness track, before the Qwerk Label mix.
Play It Loud episode 41 with Coh-hul brings a dynamic mix of House, Tech House, and Bass that will have you grooving from start to finish. Featuring tracks from Togar, Paride Pavone, and a special QWERK Records label mix, this set combines bass-heavy vibes with funky rhythms and catchy hooks. With selections like "Twerq It" by Riva Starr and "Do It Like That" by Ramboiage & C4stro, Coh-hul curates an episode that showcases the best in underground beats.
Tune in on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 10 PM to 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT) for a two-hour showcase of the latest music releases, culminating in a nostalgic throwback at the end of the broadcast. The show will also be rebroadcast on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM (ICT).
