Graham Gold has unveiled the playlist for episode 548 of 'Esta La Musica'. Scientific Sound Asia serves as a DJ agency, promoter, and electronic dance music station in Asia, drawing in audiences from both the region and around the globe.

Graham Gold, a globally renowned British DJ, has been a dominant force in the electronic music industry for over four decades. Recognised for his unparalleled talent and contribution to the dance music scene, he has performed worldwide, captivating audiences with his dynamic sets and unique musical selections.

As a former fixture in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, his influence continues to resonate, solidifying his reputation as a pioneer in the genre. Graham first gained widespread recognition through his legendary London club night, Peach, a staple in the city’s nightlife for many years.

His immensely popular residency at Kiss 100 FM catapulted him to international fame, garnering a loyal following across the globe. His distinctive sound, blending house, progressive house, melodic techno, and deep tech, has consistently evolved, ensuring his music stays fresh and thrilling for audiences worldwide.

His career started with a decade-long residency at Gulliver's Club in Mayfair, London, where he performed six nights a week, perfecting his skills and building a reputation as a talented selector. His enthusiasm for Afrocentric music led to the launch of The Funky Road Show, a mobile disco venture with his friend Duncan Uren, which introduced a variety of musical styles to London's nightlife.

By 18, he was a fixture in London's club scene, playing a blend of reggae, soul, disco, and jazz-funk, setting the stage for his future achievements. As pirate radio gained traction in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Graham secured several residencies, further boosting his impact on the underground music scene.

His influence was so profound that he received the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985, highlighting his extensive appeal and contributions to the industry.

His time at Kiss 100 FM cemented his legacy, making him one of the most recognised DJs of his era. His reputation extended beyond radio, with performances at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen, and The Street Parade in Zurich, Switzerland.

He has worked with top brands and headlined events in more than 150 cities spanning 40 countries, highlighting his worldwide influence and significant impact on electronic music. As a producer, Graham has released tracks on numerous esteemed international labels, selling over 700,000 albums, which include six BPI Certified Gold and four Silver editions.

His passion for music extends beyond performing; he continues to champion new and emerging talent through his weekly radio show, Esta La Musica. This show, inspired by the tattoo he received while touring the United States in the late 1990s, has become a go-to platform for electronic music fans, offering a curated selection of house and techno, including deep house, melodic techno, progressive house, and deep tech.

Now residing in Thailand, Graham has made his mark in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Koh Phangan, where he captivates audiences with his dynamic performances. He is a regular feature at the renowned Full Moon Party, consistently delivering memorable sets to thousands of partygoers.

His recent live shows, including a notable performance at Retro Mountain in January 2025, showcase his dedication to innovation and growth as an artist. With a career that spans decades, Graham Gold remains a highly respected and influential DJ in the industry.

His passion for electronic music, along with his ability to connect with audiences worldwide, ensures his legacy continues to flourish. Through both his radio show and live performances, he continues to shape the electronic music scene, inspiring future artists and keeping dancefloors alive globally.
