DJ Joshua has released the track-lists for his weekly 'Floating Beats' and 'Velvety Elements' shows. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station and DJ Agency for the region with an international following.

DJ Joshua moniker Joshua Mar is a Portuguese citizen hailing from Evora. His main hobbies are collecting electronic music and deejaying and he owns an extensive library in all formats.

As a teenager, he obsessively gathered genres such as House, Drum and Bass, Chill-out, and Techno to name a few and this is one of his endearing qualities as a DJ. His time spent crate-digging in record shops was tripled in his bedroom where he regularly practised with all of his collection.

However, his love for electronic music was hard to divulge as it was missing on airwaves across Portugal. After a lot of enquiring and pushing local stations, he gained a host of residencies and began his journey on the radio, spreading his love to other youngsters.

After a while, he saw the need to start hosting events and began sharing his love in local clubs and bars with his cohorts. When his firstborn came into the world he took a break to get into fatherhood.

As his daughter grew into a toddler he realised he needed a new outlet for his adoration of electronica and started a new radio show named 'Floating Beats'. Since then he has gained a massive following with his online presence and his shows are broadcast internationally.

Then, he decided to start another show to portray a deep and soulful expression of his love for House Music and his second show 'Velvety Elements' was born. His 'Floating Beats' and 'Velvety Elements' podcast is transmitted on a fair selection of online platforms and stations internationally.

In closing, Joshua has this to say 'Music is an art form. Is the fusion of elements that can convey emotions and make the body move. This is a place where you hear sounds that can float and end up falling onto your body, enjoy it.'

In his weekly shows, Joshua delves into a mixture of House Music and Techno sub-genres frequently featuring Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit House, Soulful House, Progressive House, Vocal House, Melodic Techno, and Techno.

Listen to the shows live on Monday 17th of January 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and re-airing on Friday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT).
