DJ Joshua has announced his playlists for the shows on June 10th.

DJ Joshua recently revealed the playlists for his radio shows, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements, which are aired by Scientific Sound Asia. This respected electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency commands a significant international following and plays a pivotal role in the Asian electronic music scene.


Originating from Évora, Portugal, DJ Joshua is an ardent enthusiast of electronic music. His vast collection encompasses digital tracks, vinyl, CDs, and cassettes, showcasing his profound dedication to the genre. During his early years, he invested numerous hours in perfecting his DJ abilities and meticulously assembling a diverse range of music, including Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout.


In the 1990s, Portugal faced significant opposition to rave music, leading to its ban from radio airwaves. Despite this, DJ Joshua's commitment to electronic music never wavered.


DJ Joshua embraced the challenge of orchestrating House and Techno music events across various clubs and bars. Collaborating intimately with his team, he realized his artistic vision. His influence extended past the local scene, drawing in crowds from diverse cities.


Following the birth of his first child, DJ Joshua decided to take a break from organizing events and his radio engagements. He redirected his attention to dedicate himself entirely to his new responsibilities as a parent.


Observing his daughter's growth, DJ Joshua felt a renewed passion for music. This newfound inspiration prompted him to initiate an exciting project: the creation of the Floating Beats podcast and radio show.


From the moment it launched, the program has garnered a loyal following, all anticipating Joshua's carefully selected playlist with great enthusiasm. Floating Beats, available on multiple respected online platforms, has established itself as a hub for electronic music aficionados.


Driven by a deep love for House music, DJ Joshua has launched a new program titled "Velvety Elements," celebrating the genre's rich emotional layers. His podcasts, renowned for their detailed exploration of House music's subtleties, have earned him spots on various international House and Techno radio stations, including ours.


For DJ Joshua, music transcends mere sound, it is a potent form of art that combines various elements to evoke profound emotions and physical reactions. He sees music as a spiritual sanctuary that captivates our senses with complex harmonies and offers a transformative experience to all who surrender to its allure.


DJ Joshua is dedicated to enveloping his audience in the genuine essence of the music, creating an atmosphere that reflects its unique character and essence. In January 2024, he broadened his scope into production with the launch of JFLM Recordings, aiming to distribute his own music. His compositions are marked by profound soulfulness, unwavering dedication, and a fervent passion for electronic music.


Joshua has earned a notable reputation with his weekly radio shows, masterfully mixing various sub-genres of House Music and Techno. His programs feature a broad spectrum of musical styles, including Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit Techno, Soulful House, Progressive House, Techno, Vocal House, and Melodic Techno.
