Scientific Sound Asia has released the playlists for DJ Joshua's most recent radio programs, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements. Being a prominent electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency, Scientific Sound Asia plays a crucial part in influencing the electronic music scene in Asia. The station organizes events in Ho Chi Minh City and other significant venues, attracting an international crowd.

Coming from Évora, Portugal, DJ Joshua has always been a dedicated fan of electronic music. His vast music library, containing digital tracks, vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes, showcases his unwavering dedication to the genre.

Since the beginning of his career, DJ Joshua dedicated extensive time to perfecting his DJ abilities, delving into various genres such as Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout. Despite the obstacles faced by rave music in Portugal in the 1990s, Joshua persisted in his commitment to electronic music.

Despite encountering social limitations and disapproval, he managed to come up with innovative methods for creating and sharing his music, frequently arranging clandestine meetings with his team. These gatherings, hosted in various clubs and bars, showcased House and Techno music and drew a committed audience that extended beyond his immediate community.

Upon becoming a father, DJ Joshua scaled back his participation in event management and radio hosting temporarily to prioritize his duties as a parent. Nevertheless, as his daughter matured, his enthusiasm for music was reignited, resulting in the establishment of the Floating Beats podcast and radio show. This weekly broadcast showcases a diverse range of electronic music genres, featuring Joshua's sets characterized by smooth transitions, thoughtfully selected tracks, and a deep appreciation for the emotional nuances of each genre.

According to DJ Joshua, music serves as a spiritual refuge, offering audiences a sensory journey that goes beyond mere art. In January 2024, he broadened his creative endeavours with the introduction of JFLM Recordings, a label focused on presenting his music and his exploration into music production.

Floating Beats 660’s in the first hour brings dynamic deep house, techno, and tech house, including "Hockey Player’s Confession" by Compass Vrubell and Satoshi Fumi’s "Colour Drops."

The deep house journey continues in Velvety Elements 232, spotlighting tracks like "I Can’t Believe It" by Manuel Kane and Franck Roger’s "Ruffcut." Both episodes offer a captivating blend of immersive rhythms and textured grooves, perfect for deep house and techno enthusiasts alike.

DJ Joshua is well-known for the heartfelt quality of his music and his dedicated support of the electronic music community. His music consistently receives high acclaim.
