DJ Joshua, hailing from Evora, Portugal, is renowned for his deep connection with electronic music, collecting an extensive range of genres across formats like digital, vinyl, CDs, and tapes. His journey began in his teenage years, immersing himself in Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout. He spent countless hours honing his skills as a DJ and meticulously organizing his vast music library.

In the early 1990s, when rave music faced resistance in Portugal and was largely absent from the airwaves, DJ Joshua fought to bring the genre to the public. His persistence paid off as he secured residencies on local stations, allowing him to share his passion for rave music. His influence grew as he performed at clubs and bars, establishing a strong reputation both locally and beyond.

After taking a break from performing to focus on fatherhood, Joshua returned to his roots with the launch of his "Floating Beats" podcast and radio series. His dedication and unique style have earned him a loyal following across several notable online platforms.

Expanding his creative reach, DJ Joshua introduced another show, "Velvety Elements," which highlights the deeper, more soulful side of House music. Both podcasts have been broadcast internationally, including on Scientific Sound Asia, a leading Asian electronic music station and DJ agency with a global audience.

In his own words, DJ Joshua describes his work as, "Music is an art form. The fusion of elements can convey emotions and make the body move. This is a place where you hear sounds that can float and end up falling onto your body, enjoy it."

His weekly shows, "Floating Beats" and "Velvety Elements," delve into a diverse mix of House and Techno sub-genres, including Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit Techno, Soulful House, Progressive House, Techno, Vocal House, and Melodic Techno, featuring tracks by prominent artists like Sasha, Byron the Aquarius, and Black Loops.

Tune in to his shows live on Monday, 6th March 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a re-airing on Friday from 6 AM to 8 AM (ICT).
