Scientific Sound Asia has released the latest playlists for DJ Joshua’s radio shows, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements. As a key player in the electronic music scene, Scientific Sound Asia operates as a radio station, promoter, and DJ agency, impacting the Asian electronic landscape. Through its events in Ho Chi Minh City and other major venues, the station draws an international and diverse audience.

Originally from Évora, Portugal, DJ Joshua has long been immersed in electronic music. His extensive collection, featuring digital files, vinyl records, CDs, and cassettes, is a testament to his enduring passion for the genre.

Throughout his career, DJ Joshua has mastered various styles, including Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout. Despite the hurdles posed by Portugal's rave culture in the 1990s, Joshua remained dedicated to electronic music.

Facing social obstacles and disapproval, he developed innovative ways to create and share his music. He often collaborated with his peers to organise events in clubs and bars, which became vital gathering spots for House and Techno enthusiasts, extending his reach far beyond his local community.

After becoming a father, DJ Joshua scaled back his involvement in events and radio work to prioritise his family. However, as his daughter grew older, his passion for music was rekindled, leading to the creation of the Floating Beats podcast and radio show. This program features a diverse selection of electronic music, with Joshua's sets earning acclaim for their smooth transitions, thoughtful track choices, and focus on each genre's emotional depth.

DJ Joshua believes that music offers spiritual comfort and takes listeners on a sensory journey beyond traditional artistic boundaries. In January 2024, he expanded his creative pursuits by launching JFLM Recordings, a label dedicated to showcasing his music and supporting his production work.

Immerse yourself in DJ Joshua's expertly crafted mixes featuring a blend of House, Tech House, Deep House, and Techno. With key tracks by renowned artists like Telephones, DJ Sneak, Franck Roger, and Dillon Nathaniel, this set promises an unforgettable listening experience. Don't miss it!

Be sure to listen to his live radio show on Monday, November 4th, 2024, airing from 6 to 8 p.m. Indochina Time (ICT). In case you miss the live broadcast, you can tune in for the replay on Friday from 6 to 8 a.m. (ICT).
