DJ Marco Mei’s 2025 Episode 7 kicks off with a high-energy DJ mix, blending Disco and Nu-Disco grooves to set the perfect vibe. Devin Dare’s “Dancemuzak” and James Brown’s “Funky Men” (Dimitri From Paris Edit) bring a mix of retro funk and modern production, igniting the dancefloor with smooth rhythms.
As the mix progresses, the set moves seamlessly into House and Classic House, featuring JKriv’s soulful rework of “Five-O At The Door” and Terrence Parker’s timeless groove, “Tonight We Luv.” These tracks, along with Butch’s hypnotic “No Worries” and Criminal House’s Ghetto House anthem “Rhythm Talk,” keep the momentum going.
Further in, Marco Mei infuses Chicago House and Acid House influences, dropping deep cuts like Armando’s “I Need U” and DJ Funk’s “We Gotta Love.” Blake Baxter’s “FM Disko” and Malcolm Bennett’s “The Freak Out” add a Minimal / Deep Tech edge, giving the mix an underground feel.
Closing the set, Soulful House, Jazz-Funk, and R&B take centre stage, with The Shapeshifters’ “Lola’s Theme (Tripolism Remix)” and DJ Rae & Martin Badder’s “Change” setting a smooth tone. Zo!’s Neo-Soul-infused “On The Four” rounds off this expertly crafted DJ mix, delivering a fusion of classic and contemporary grooves finale. DJ Marco Mei once again delivers a masterful mix of timeless and cutting-edge sounds.
