Marco Mei, a renowned Italian DJ and producer associated with Bicycle Corporation, has recently unveiled the playlist for his upcoming radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. This organization is recognised for organising events and broadcasting electronic dance music to a broad audience across Asia, reaching countries such as Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, and Sri Lanka, thereby drawing electronic music enthusiasts worldwide.


Marco Mei, boasting over thirty years in the music industry, is celebrated for his energetic and eclectic DJing style. Originating from Turin, Italy, he skillfully blends Afrocentric rhythms with contemporary electronic music. His enthralling performances and extensive understanding of various musical genres allow him to create captivating auditory experiences that resonate with audiences globally.


Marco began his career at music stores in Turin, immersing himself in the local Afrocentric, House, and Techno scenes. By fusing these genres, he crafted a distinctive style as a member of the Urban People crew, playing a crucial role in organizing major House and Techno events in the city, which established him as a prominent figure in Turin's underground music scene.


As Marco's career progressed, he obtained a residency at the famous Pacha nightclub, signifying a crucial turning point in his journey. This opportunity led him to Egypt, where he honed his DJ skills amidst the lively nightlife of Sharm el Sheikh. His performances gained international recognition, enabling him to showcase his unique sound at events worldwide.


Marco Mei is celebrated in the electronic music world for his talent in mesmerising audiences and energising dance floors. His performances at prestigious venues like G-Star in Thailand and Fuse in Belgium have solidified his reputation, and collaborating with notable artists like David Morales has strengthened his standing in the industry.


Marco, together with Stefano Ugliano, co-founded Bicycle Corporation, leaving a notable impression on electronic music genres. They have jointly produced over fifty distinctive tracks and remixes across genres like House, Techno, French House, Deep House, and Tech-House, with their partnership leaving a lasting impact on the global electronic music scene.


Since relocating to Taipei, Taiwan, in 2010, Marco quickly emerged as a key figure in the city's vibrant music scene. His performances at various venues have earned him a loyal fan following throughout Asia, with his influence continuously expanding. With extensive touring experience in South Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, he has become a worldwide ambassador for electronic music.


Before the onset of global lockdowns, Marco took every opportunity to explore and participate in diverse nightlife scenes around the world. His performances at venues such as Roots Taipei and events like the Electronic Roots series left a strong impression on audiences, showcasing his talent for captivating crowds with his dynamic and creative performance style.
