Scientific Sound Asia, renowned as a DJ agency, event coordinator, and broadcaster of electronic dance music, caters to a wide audience spanning Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, and Sri Lanka, among others, attracting electronic music enthusiasts globally.
With over thirty years of experience in the music industry, Marco Mei is celebrated for his vibrant and varied DJing approach. Originating from Turin, Italy, Marco expresses his passion for music by seamlessly blending Afrocentric beats with contemporary electronic sounds. His energetic performances and extensive knowledge of different musical styles enable him to create captivating auditory experiences that resonate with audiences worldwide.
Marco began his professional journey in music shops in Turin, immersing himself in the Afrocentric, House, and Techno music scenes. By fusing these genres, he cultivated a distinct style. Collaborating with the Urban People group, he was instrumental in organizing major House and Techno events throughout the city. As his fame grew, Marco secured a residency at the famed Pacha nightclub. This crucial milestone led him to Egypt, where he honed his DJing skills in the lively nightlife of Sharm el Sheikh. His performances quickly garnered international recognition, leading to gigs around the world as he showcased his signature sound on a global stage.
Marco Mei has earned acclaim in the electronic music realm for his ability to engage audiences and invigorate dance floors. His shows at esteemed venues such as G-Star in Thailand and Fuse in Belgium have reinforced his standing. Together with Stefano Ugliano, Marco formed Bicycle Corporation, leaving a significant mark on the electronic music tapestry.
