Bicycle Corporation has introduced guest DJ Murphy Kin, also known as DJ Lucy, for his latest Roots show. Scientific Sound Asia serves as the premier electronic music station, promoter and DJ agency in Asia and has a worldwide audience.

Bicycle Corporation is the Italian partnership of DJ and producer Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, known as 6884. They have created a vast collection of music, with more than 50 tracks covering a range of House and Techno subgenres, such as Melodic, Deep, Tech, and French styles.

Marco began his journey in the early nineties, initially participating in House Music and Techno events like Urban People. As time passed, his influence in the music scene expanded, making him a highly regarded figure throughout Italy. Nevertheless, his success went beyond national boundaries, with Marco securing international bookings worldwide, further cementing his role in the global music community.

Originating from Torino, Italy, Stefano showed musical talent early on, with a profound love for the arts. His growing interest in music soon occupied most of his spare time, prompting him to learn classical piano, percussion, and drums. Stefano's musical inspirations included Chopin's compositions and the beats of the West African Djembe, highlighting his broad appreciation for various genres and cultures.

Although Stefano was deeply committed to multiple music genres, one passion shone brighter than the rest: the craft of DJing. The captivating image of the DJ mixing tracks particularly intrigued the young Stefano, who yearned for the electronic beats that were seldom played on Italian radio during that era.

For many, transforming dreams into reality, particularly the idea of making and performing music in front of large audiences seems unlikely. However, Stefano was not discouraged by the obstacles. With a clear vision, he decided to wholeheartedly follow his passion. Through a meeting with Marco, along with his steadfast determination, relentless dedication, and indomitable spirit, Stefano realised his vision, leading to the creation of Bicycle Corporation.

Despite their achievements, Marco and Stefano stay true to their modest beginnings. Lately, they have revisited some of their initial tracks, demonstrating a dedication to their musical foundations. Moreover, they launched a Bandcamp page to share these tracks, making sure their early work stays available to fans. In addition, their House Music and Disco radio shows feature a mix of famous and up-and-coming DJs from Asia and beyond, highlighting their commitment to supporting diverse talent in the industry.

He expertly constructs his sets, avoiding instant peaks and instead leading listeners through a slow energy buildup. With careful attention to detail, Lucy takes his audience on a captivating journey through his beats, beginning with a gentle rise and gradually gaining momentum.

Lucy's musical journey leads listeners through a varied range of genres, smoothly shifting from romantic rock and vintage old-school tracks to playful R&B tunes. As the rhythm progresses, he skillfully ushers the audience into the worlds of Disco, Indie, Rock, and Dance, crafting an engaging blend of sounds and styles.

As each piece unfolds, Lucy's music evokes cinematic images, drawing listeners into emotionally charged and anticipatory scenes. His compositions ultimately build to thrilling climaxes, where the beats peak, captivating audiences with the electrifying energy of his music.

Inherently upbeat and full of energy, DJ Lucy's diverse musical selection showcases his wide-ranging tastes and deep expertise in different genres. With a sharp sense of rhythm and emotion, he skillfully manages transitions between a vast array of musical styles.

Lucy seamlessly enchants listeners' emotions, guiding them through a rhythmic voyage across a diverse array of musical styles, from the infectious rhythms of Hip-Hop to the vibrant energy of Rock and Punk, and the reflective tunes of Indie Rock and Jazz.

Led by DJ Lucy, Ting Ting Disco has become renowned for organizing spectacular parties at various bars, pubs, clubs, and venues in Taipei and Shanghai since it started in 2015. Extending its influence beyond these cities, Ting Ting Disco started captivating audiences in other Chinese urban centres from 2017 onwards and then embarked on an ongoing tour throughout Asia.

In 2025, Ting Ting Disco plans to broaden its services beyond live events by introducing an online music platform. By curating and integrating music productions from artists around the globe, Ting Ting Disco seeks to offer music lovers a wide selection of multi-genre options. This initiative demonstrates the brand's dedication to nurturing global musical connections and enriching the musical experience for its audience.

In his live shows, DJ Lucy reveals himself as a musician who is free from constraints or predetermined plans. His style is adaptable, often influenced by the changing moments, vibes, and ambience of the venue.

Sometimes, his improvisations are shaped by external influences, whereas at other times, he seizes control, guiding the audience's emotions akin to a masterful movie director crafting a scene. This dynamic exchange between Lucy and his audience generates an electrifying environment where every moment brims with potential.
