Bicycle Corporation is preparing to reveal the highly anticipated episode 117 of the 'Electronic Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia is acknowledged as the leading electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency for Asia and beyond, serving both local and global audiences.
The Bicycle Corporation consists of the Italian artists, DJ and producer Marco Mei, and Stefano Ugliano, who is also recognized as 6884. Marco began his professional journey in the early 1990s, engaging in house music and techno events, notably with the 'Urban People' group.
Over time, Marco's reputation in the music business grew, solidifying his position as a respected artist in Italy. His achievements went beyond the country's borders, leading to international recognition due to his considerable success at home. This global acclaim created opportunities for Marco to showcase his talent worldwide.
Stefano, a gifted musician from Turin, Italy, has shown his potential since a young age. He dedicated his free time to delving into the realm of music, showcasing a strong passion for the arts. In addition to his studies in classical piano, percussion, and drums, Stefano cultivated a deep appreciation for Chopin's compositions and the West African Djembe.
Stefano's unwavering dedication to different music styles cultivated a unique enthusiasm - a profound fascination with the skilled turntable artist, the DJ. The mesmerizing songs created by these artists were a rare gem on the Italian radio waves at that time.
Producing sounds and presenting them to large audiences may seem like an impossible dream for many. Nevertheless, Stefano was not discouraged by this idea; he had a strong vision that he was committed to realising.
The establishment of Bicycle Corporation was the result of persistent determination, diligent effort, fortunate meetings with Marco, and unwavering dedication. With more than 50 tracks and remixes spanning various genres such as Techno, Melodic House, Melodic Techno, Deep House, French House, and Tech House, the artist duo has garnered significant recognition.
Despite their success, Marco and Stefan stay humble and true to their roots. They have returned to their initial songs and set up a Bandcamp page to share their music. Furthermore, being featured artists in our DJ agency for Asia, they continue to enhance their influence on the electronic music scene in the region.
